The store assistant mentioned that the fuel cost for petrol cars is high and suggested switching to a diesel car. However, it seems like I was charged an extra 2-3 euros per day, or maybe it was a toll fee. In total, I was charged 59 lira or euros at the store.
Rented a car three times in Turkey, and this company was the worst. Bad attitude and hard to communicate with. They gave me a smaller car claiming it was a larger one, felt cheated, never renting from them again. They charged me 10 euros in advance for toll fees, when it was actually only 3 euros. Other companies charge based on actual costs.
They gave us an old, fuel-inefficient car that was not the model we reserved. The staff at the site said it was the only one left, otherwise, there would be no car. They did not clearly inform us about the correct parking area for returning the car. We parked in the airport visitor parking, which was right next to the rental car parking. When we asked for assistance at the counter, they said it was our own responsibility and refused to help. Terrible service. The car model was vastly different from what we booked, old, and consumed a lot of fuel. A driver on the road even flagged us down to tell us that the rear wheels were swerving. I have the right to request a refund.
