CAR RENTAL REVIEWS ON CIRCULAR IN IZMIR

Our group of 8 rented a car from Izmir, Turkey for 7 days. On the first day, they brought us a Mercedes minivan with 7 seats, but we had originally rented a 9-seater Toyota minibus. We didn't accept it, and the rental company promised to deliver the car to our hotel before we set off the next day. Surprisingly, they delivered a 10-seater Fiat minivan to us that same night at 10 PM. We were very satisfied. Since it was dark, we didn't check the car's condition thoroughly. The next morning, we found a small hole in the front windshield, and were worried it might cause issues when returning the car, but everything went smoothly. There was no deposit needed. Overall, the service was excellent and punctual. Highly recommended.

It was a smooth car rental experience overall. However, the staff at the car rental branch in Turkey seemed a bit unscrupulous. Although we had already discussed insurance online, they insisted on purchasing additional insurance at pick-up, implying that we might not be able to get the car otherwise. We reluctantly paid an extra 100 euros for some glass insurance and speeding insurance. Complaining about this! It's the branch at Izmir Airport, Turkey.

No one processed the deposit refund, and the insurance was not handled promptly. Very bad company.

The car was new and automatic. The overall service was good. I had to wait a bit for pickup and drop-off, but the staff arrived shortly. Overall, I am satisfied.

Poor English and service attitude. Customers have to bear the consequences of the company's issues.

The gasoline tank was empty!!! We spend 1u30 to get the car!!!

Dreadful. There was no desk, we had to search the airport to find anyone who knew who Circular are. Anyone with average initiative would not find the car.

Initially, I thought it was a small company since our road trip was split into two parts. For the first part, there were almost no other options. As expected, there was no dedicated counter at Izmir Airport. We were met at an outdoor café near the airport exit, which took a long time to find due to issues with our phone card.

I filled out the feedback for the wrong location last time, the issue was with this Izmir booking. The rental company didn't deliver the car on time. According to the instructions from PigCar on WeChat, the rental company should have been inside the airport, but it wasn't. We had to call separately to arrange for the car. The rental company didn't meet us at the airport, and the staff who answered the phone at night didn't speak English. PigCar customer service didn't resolve the issue, and we waited for an hour in vain. They said the car would be delivered to our hotel later, but it never arrived. We had to stay at the airport hotel Orty Hotel for the night. The next morning, we finally got hold of someone who spoke English, and the car was delivered to the hotel at 11 am, affecting our plans for the second day.

In Izmir, the car got a minor scratch from a passerby, not very noticeable! I was worried it might cause problems when returning the car, so I called the car rental company manager in advance, sent him a photo, and asked if I needed to pay for it. He probably knew I was Chinese and overcharged me, asking for 500 lira! I thought such a small scratch shouldn't cost that much! Later, when returning the car, I met a more reasonable staff member who said it was no big deal and didn't charge me. After returning to my country, my credit card was charged 22 lira, which should be the toll fee. Three months later, I received another charge of 29 lira! After calling to inquire, I found out it was an unauthorized charge by the rental company! Thankfully, with the help of the customer service, I got the money back.

The pickup location is not inside the airport, requiring a phone call to the staff, which is inconvenient (mainly because the English accents are hard to get used to, especially over the phone, making communication difficult). Unlike other companies that have counters inside the airport where you can communicate face-to-face.
