Steven was not professional. His language was not appropriate or professional. He tried to give me an SUV and argued with me that I what I requested. I showed him my reservation for a Nissan Versa or similar. The manager looked at my reservation and explained to him that it was transferred and looks as if U -Save staff entered it wrong.
Steven upgraded me to a Hyundai Sonata (I think) after multiple requests of me telling him I DID NOT want an upgrade. He said it’s ok, it’s free, I got you. I told him again that I did not want that car.
I accepted it because this process had been too frustrating.
I was not given a pass to get out of the gate and had to sit at the gate for 10 minutes. I had to get out of the car and go find a hotel person to let me out.
Overall, the attitude was good. However, they informed us at the local store that we could return the car in the city on weekends, but it turned out the city store is closed on weekends, so we had to go back to the airport.
“not happy this time with this car rental company”

all OK, however I believe I was not happy that they charged me for a scratch which you can't notice at all at the time of picking up the car. Not myself nor the staff could have seen this. I am surprised the staff noticed this when I dropped back the car. I told them this is hardly anything and not at all caused by me, it must have been there already. When I took the car it was evening so you can't even notice it. They did not want to believe and charged me Euro 558 for something which if they want to fix is negligible amount. I am sure it is so negligible they will not at all fix and keep as is. You can't charge such a huge amount, it is not reasonable and not fair in any sense. I
I picked up the car with an empty tank. I was not given an option and had to fill the car immediately. I was told not to worry bring the car back empty as well. On bringing back the car empty I have now been charged extra for fuel !!!
They charged an additional 440 pesos for insurance without providing a receipt upon return. I'm still negotiating with the rental company for a refund.

There were significant extra charges at the pickup location, including taxes and mileage. The fees shown by the system during booking did not match what was charged at the location. We are currently filing a complaint, which has greatly impacted our mood and experience on this rental. We hope the rental company cooperates to resolve this issue! We will definitely appeal to the end!
Very bad service with forced extra charges! I already purchased full insurance from ZuzuCar, but upon arriving at the store, I was informed that I needed to pay an additional fee of over $90. Being abroad, I had no choice but to pay. After more than a month of complaints upon returning home, I was finally told by the car rental company that there is a small note at the bottom of the final payment page about extra charges from the store. It certainly wasn't there when I booked the car months ago. Now the platform has added a tiny note to avoid responsibility! Extremely frustrating! (I contacted ZuzuCar by phone at the store about this issue, and they said after some back-and-forth that they didn't know about this rule either and advised me to pay and verify upon returning to the country. They also mentioned that the full payment had not been transferred to the store yet, and I could appeal it after returning home.)
1. The location is a few kilometers from the airport. They promised a free pickup service, but I had to wait for an hour in the cold after calling them.
2. When booking, they mentioned only a certain cross-border fee with no mileage limit. However, at the store, they imposed a mileage limit of 1500 kilometers for 10 days, with high extra charges for exceeding it, and refused to communicate or negotiate.
3. After returning, they charged an unknown fee of a few tens of dollars, which I didn't contest due to the small amount. But after six months, they deducted over $500 without explanation. Despite reporting this to the rental platform, the rental company never responded, which is very frustrating.
No enough information about the conditions of the booking, some extra rules that the guys in the front desk didn't explain with clarity, the car conditions was good, but definitely the car was not clean, the quantity of km for rent car in Hungary and driving to near country are ridiculous small, just they making a rule to rip-off more money.
