I was given a faulty car my case # Case # 0200064194 , i was unsafe on the road for the whole one and i requested to get compensate for this 28 hours .
Also my 200$ is been blocked by the dollar office please release them.

Landed in JFK at night, rented a car, and experienced aggressive insurance upselling. I had already told the staff that I bought full insurance on the app, but they still handed me several English documents and asked me to sign them. I had my child translate for me, and it turned out to be additional insurance. I refused to sign and reiterated that I had already purchased full insurance. The staff claimed they couldn't see my insurance purchase on their website. I called the car rental customer service for coordination. The customer service confirmed that the staff knew about my insurance. At this point, the staff became very rude, spoke extremely fast, and handed me a toll fee card for signing. The price was outrageous, with a 12-day rental costing $256. I asked if it was the rental fee, deposit, or a bundled fee, fearing a misunderstanding. The staff impatiently said it was the rental fee and asked me to sign. I called customer service again. After a long conversation between the customer service and the staff, and even with the headquarters, they advised me to give up the rental, citing unreasonable charges. Headquarters confirmed there was no such price. The back-and-forth took over an hour. I will never rent from this company again; it's terrible.
Solo había una persona atendiendo en el aeropuerto, la fila era enorme. Solo íbamos a usar el coche por 4 horas para ir a Manhattan y perdimos mas de una hora en fila. La señorita de muy mal humor y poco amable. Y al salir la persona de la caseta de salida estaba sentado en otro lado y tardó más de 15 min en llegar a darnos la salida por mas que tocábamos el claxon.
Por culpa de dólar usamos menos el coche.
Al llegar a devolver el proceso fue igual de lento. La gente de dólar del JFK no tenían ganas de trabajar

The overall experience was great, from initial contact with customer service to driving out the lot. Everyone I came into contact with was very professional and pleasant, service was expeditious..thank you guys for a wonderful experience.
This was by far the worst car rental experience that I have had. An hour for pick up. The whole process showed a lack of professionalism.
After a day two tyres had warning lights for low pressure. We checked the pressures of all of them. The other two had pressures of 80 and 65 which were dangerous over inflated. After anothe couple of days the low pressured tyres were down again. We got no response grow Dollar customer service or the breakdown people. A garage checked the tyres and found nails in both of them. Appalling. I was billed $24.95 which Dollar refused to reimburse. They said that it was Car Rantals problem.
Would I use Dollar again?
Definitely not.
It would have been better to know the hidden charges like inner city parking or mandatory toll charges. Those charges were charged over and above which were high.
The process was very simple, and the wait time was not long. The return process was so convenient that I was concerned and asked the front desk if it was really all done.
We had to wait for a vehicle for 2 hours. This was due to original booking stating 4.00pm pick up but flight details were amended by the carrier so we arrived earlier.
Vehicle wasn’t that clean. No portable GPS devices available sine Covid.

You should not advertise free GPS when this is not available from the renter!
