Worst car rental service ever, they run out of economic or medium cars. And don't agree to make upgrades, they make a list of customer with my same situation and make us wait until car returns. After spend more than 3 hours need to go to my hotel with out car and return next day to pick the car.
Everything went very smoothly from start to finish. Counter Agent Kavel Smith was extremely helpful and courteous. One suggestion would be to wash the interior of the airport van. It looked like it was rained on inside!
“Good, easy rental booking experience but the car company was a joke!”
About Easirent:5.7/10
Just remember you get what you pay for! The car was DISGUSTING! There were stains all over the seats, both front and back, and god knows what on the inside of the front windshield. The car had not been cleaned inside or out before my pick-up.
The person inspecting the car didn't mark down a single scratch or dent on the car (ie. insinuating that it was in perfect condition), but when I inspected it before accepting the car, found no less than 10, with some of the scratched being very major ones; an example, being a large, six inch scratching the front bumper - six inches long and one inch wide - absolutely unmissable! Definitely inspect your car yourself first before signing anything.
When I got in the car and turned it on, the "Maintenance Required Soon" message was shown on the (very dirty) screen. Within a few days of my trip, that soon changed to "Maintenance Required". Luckily, I think it was only a service needed, because a specific mileage had been reached, but still... they clearly don't maintain these cars. Please read on....
They charge you $9.99 per DAY for SunPass which you will need for tolls (trust me - you absolutely have to have this), so my "cheap" 10 day rental ended up costing me $100 USD more than anticipated. As a comparison, Hertz and Avis charge $3-4 per day for the exact same thing. It's a total scam
To top it all off, I waited almost an hour to pick up my car. Trust me, this is not the way you want to start your vacation in Florida. I will not be renting from them again.
Avoid this business! The car was in terrible condition (damaged, things loose and rattling) and very dirty - I couldn't believe they rented it to us. They tried to charge a $250 deposit to my credit card that would be refunded up to 10 DAYS after I returned the vehicle. I told them no - that was not disclosed to me when I made the reservation. So they said they would wave the deposit for a $53 non-refundable charge. They get you either way. They also make it look like you are covered insurance-wise, but beware - if you are a US citizen, you MUST give them your car insurance policy number - I had to call my company to get that and that took awhile. They try to nickel-and-dime customers, and even try to short folks on how much gas in the tank when you pick it up. AND - this is NOT at the airport. The booking site makes it look like it is. You have to wait for a shuttle to take you to their tiny (and not-very professional-looking) office.
“The price for rentals were great. I didnt think a deposit of $500 was good when ohers charge $250”
About Easirent:9.0/10
The staff was friendly. The person driving the courtesy bus was somewhat reckless speeding through traffic. The vehicle was given to me very dirty on the outside. It should have been washed in order to see the damages better.
“Liars and thieves! Be careful before you do business with these people.”
About Easirent:6.7/10
The staff lied repeatedly about the need for the Sunpass toll. We specifically asked if 95 was strictly a toll hwy and ALL 4 members of staff said yes. We asked a 3rd and 4th time if there was any route to get to Miami without using a toll road and were lied to. Even went so far as to tell us if we went on 95 without the Sunpass, we would be issued a $25 fine for each offense. Of course, once we got on 95, we saw that only 1-2 lanes required a Sunpass. They totally robbed us of an additional $30. Also, neither my husband or myself received a copy of the rental agreement and when we asked for a copy of the digital agreement we signed, we were told it would be sent to our email. No email was sent! Then, after waiting the 3-5 business days, I tried to call about the $250 deposit placed on my credit card. For three days no one answered the phone and I had to call my credit card company to get my deposit back! Nice clean car for a decent price, but the customer service are thieves!
I had to change the battery ($5.99) in the key fob as I kept getting a low battery prompt. I told easirent when I returned the car but the attendant acted as if he could care less.
Also, the front tires on the car were starting to get close to the end of their tread life.
Everything was good except I confused it with E-Z at the airport and waited in line there for over 15 min. to find out I was in the wrong place ... my fault; not yours.

Was really impress with the friendly pickup driver. He was so friendly. So nice to meet a smiling face when you arrive at the airport.
“Easirent is HORRIBLE! Don’t ever rent from this company no matter how cheap it is.”
About Easirent:2.0/10
This company is HORRIBLE! Don’t ever rent from this company EVER! The pick up location is a bus ride and then another bus ride to the place (we took a cab there and Lyft back to airport). The car was in terrible shape, dents everywhere, window had been broken into previously and was rusted. The inside of the car was so dirty and disgusting. The customer service was terrible as they made me pay $60 extra for more insurance even though I had my own. They told me I didn’t have enough for Florida, which is BS since I’ve rented cars many times on FLA before. Don’t be fooled by the low price, go anywhere else but here.
“No helpful communication from any staff or by your customer service number I called several times.”
About Easirent:5.0/10
I waited almost 2 hours to get my car once I got to the pickup location. Also, you are now trying to hold my $250 deposit for 2 weeks. I returned the car in the same condition with an extra quarter tank of gas and couldn't even get anyone to give me any paperwork to verify time, car condition and check out.
I found the Easirent staff, especially Mizra, to be very helpful and professional. The young man (with dreadlocks) who checked the car when I returned it and who drove the van back to the airport was also exceptionally efficient and pleasant. I would do business with them again.

Easyrentcars.com is my website of choice when renting cars. I turn to them first. I find their rates to be extremely competitive and their customer service is beyond excellent.
“Charged me for a sunpass customer service rep insisted we would need but never did.”
About Easirent:5.7/10
Terrible experience. Charged for a sunpass I didn't need (customer service rep insisted I would). Shuttle pick up service for airport was a 40 minute wait. Charged for collision damage I said I didn't need.
