Normal insisting comprehensive insurance hasn’t been booked

We had a great experience with Centauro. Dominico helped us at collection and drop off. He provided us with so much information and even gave us recommendations on restaurants where we were staying. Dominico was a pleasure to deal with and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend.

Rented the car for 6 days and was inexplicably charged over 420 euros! The Naples store supposedly operated until 11 PM, but they stopped accepting car returns before 9 PM. I handed over the keys without any receipt or explanation, only verbal confirmation that everything was okay. The next morning, I received a bank message indicating a charge of 269 euros. Including the deposit, a total of over 420 euros was taken! Unbelievable! Do not rent from this company. I'm not a novice; I've driven over 7-8,000 kilometers in Europe, and this is the first time I've encountered something like this!! It's ridiculous. I strongly advise everyone driving in southern Italy to get full insurance! It's very important. The drivers there are crazy!

Car was dented. Car was old but worked well. Staff at drop off rude.

The cost of the extra insurance with waiver was more than the cost of the car.

Counter staff where fine. Tried the usual sale of extra insurance which I didnt require. Explained everything I needed to know. Drop off was fine with key box as it was out of hours, however in hindsight I will try and use a 24 hr one in future. Not overly happy about having to top up AdBlue, this should be their expense. Was told I have 1500km but top up showed 600km. After returning home they have tried to claim i damaged one of the alloys on the vehicle. This damage was present when i collected the vehicle, and have video proof, still waiting to hear back from them.

Shocking service. Had to wait an hour and a half on pick up which was pretty much the same amount of time to fly there. Staff were rude and not very helpful. Would never use again

vehicle was very dirty. we booked a 308 estate and was told we had only ordered a small car and that a 308 estate was not available. we had to pay £45 extra for a car of the size we had expected. we expect a refund of this amount

I booked a compact station wagon through easy rent. easy rent booked me a compact car and not a station wagon. I called to complain and email and have not heard back! Terrible service. Had to pay more money for the car I had originally booked.

We waited for nearly an hour at the counter to be served. Our friends that booked via other companies were long gone by time we got ours. The man behind the counter was very unhelpful. We had booked a car and were unaware you couldn’t pay the deposit on a debit card or a credit card in the name of one of the passengers (main driver does not own one). He was unwilling to call a manager out only option was to cancel it loosing our inital payment or to pay an additional €199! This should be made clear when booking!

Booking was very easy. Activated price drop detector but seems I booked it on cheapest date as it increased by 4 times the amount in the end!

A little more than we wanted to pay but the service at collection and drop off made it worth the extra money.

I left my jacket with wallet and phone in one of their cars. Their support line was answered by a human in reasonable time who assisted in contacting the airport desk. With 30mins they confirmed they found my jacket and kept it secure till I could pick it up. Great service when I was in a panic. Thank you nso much.

Locating the Sicily By Car desk was easy. The member of staff dealt with us quickly and efficiently. There was no hard sell of insurances although the various excesses and what was and wasn't covered were clearly explained. The car it's self was quite new, but with over 50k km on the clock, had its fair share of small dings and scrapes which were accurately recorded. The car it's-self could have been slightly cleaner, but could in no way be described as dirty. The return process was simple and straightforward. We added no damage to the car and there was no dispute about this. Overall, I'd have no hesitation in using Sicily By Car again or recommending their service.
