You need to take a shuttle bus from the airport, and there are no clear signs at the airport stop, making it easy to miss. They pushed full insurance at an extra $15 per day. There are many car models to choose from. There were a lot of people picking up cars, so you have to queue. Overall, it was pretty good as I've used Alamo before and am familiar with their process. The airport shuttle is very convenient, store service is efficient, and there are no additional sales pitches. However, the self-service car pickup machine doesn't seem to recognize domestic credit cards, so you still need to go to the counter.

Service is decent, but the car options are average. I should have rented the Wrangler.

受け取りの際、自動チェックインがあったので、英語で変にサービス勧誘されなくてよかった。あっという間に受け取り返却ができた。日本も見習って欲しい。

ホノルルのアラモではワイキキから向かうと逆車線に入る必要があるので、返却がやや大変。日本人スタッフもいたが、保険については断っても勧められた。返却は車をぐるっと確認にしてガソリンをチェックするだけで終わり。車内は汚かったが問題にならなかった。
