Extremely dissatisfied.
This rental was a disaster because my lack of understanding of local UK regulations led to the vehicle being towed by local authorities.
However, Rentacar company's response was slow. It took them 10 days to retrieve the vehicle from the authorities, causing significant inconvenience and incurring almost 1000 pounds in costs during my stay in the UK.
When asked why it took Hertz 10 days to get the vehicle back, they never gave a direct answer, instead offering unconvincing excuses.
In summary, very disappointed. Your company did not look after the customer's interest. Poor service.
At pickup, they said no cars in the same category were available, we had to upgrade. If not, we would have to wait for four hours, but I arrived at 8 PM, so I had to upgrade and ended up paying an additional £1000 for the 16 days.
The line at the London airport branch was very slow that day, and the Google navigation was inaccurate, which made me anxious when I couldn't find the drop-off point. Finally, I asked a local taxi driver and found it. The staff was nice, nothing unpleasant happened. It wasn't until my deposit was released today that I felt confident giving a fair review. 4 stars, it's okay.
