Do not choose small car rentals, they're unreliable.

Green Motion double-charged for insurance, costing over 2,000 yuan.

Since I provided the flight number, a very nice staff member picked us up as soon as we exited the airport. The service was excellent throughout, and we were given a new car in great condition. After returning the car, they even sent us back to our hotel. A wonderful experience!

The model was not the one we reserved, and the rental company said they didn't have the Grand Cherokee we booked.

The store is close to Reykjavik Airport, but their service is really bad. First, there is the intimidating insurance upsell. If you don't buy their €15 per day insurance, no matter how comprehensive your insurance from rentals is, they will pre-authorize a 290,000 ISK repair fee for any accident. Every minor scratch is considered an accident, and you'll have to pay over 15,000 RMB up front for repairs, which is a scam. If you buy their insurance, they only deduct 2,000 ISK. Low efficiency; from struggling to find their shuttle at the airport to finishing the communication, I spent 600 RMB on international calls. Never renting from this company again.

First They did not have the vehicle we booked. They then said they were upgrading us and tried to give us a 9 person van. As you can imagine not ideal for traveling for parking or expense if gas. Not really an upgrade. Then they gave us an old minivan. Not what we had booked but better than the 9 person van!
