Had to wait about 30 minutes after registration to get the car, which is quite inefficient. Also, the fuel tank was only ¼ full at pickup, making it tricky to estimate the fuel needed when returning the car.
Used AVIS in both Germany and the UK. The overall service was nothing special but also had no issues. However, both times I was given a car that was a lower tier than the model advertised online.
Like: Golf was great and stable. Petrol efficient since we didn't use the aircon and decided to feel the breeze of Scotland. Nice and quiet to drive.
