I had initially upgraded my vehicle expecting it to provide more convenience, but unfortunately, I lost 2 days and a night due to issues with the vehicle.
I am grateful for the taxi provided to Edinburgh Airport to resolve the matter, but the delay impacted my plans for that day, night and following day.
Additionally, I had taken out two rentals (a van and a car), but was only informed when picking up the van that this was not allowed because of company policy. This left me unable to complete everything I had planned and I need to come back at the end of this month. All of which would have been fine if it was not for the unfortunate timing and reasons for renting the vehicles, my mother had passed and I needed to move my life back down to London. Two very stressful situations.
I’ve been a loyal Enterprise customer for some time now, frequently renting from your branches at Edinburgh/Stansted Airport, Perth, and Bow. The staff at all three locations – Cameron, Elliot, Jack (Edinburgh), Katy (Perth), and Tam, Jamil, and Rob (Bow) – went above and beyond to make up for the lost time, sleep, and money during this period. I truly appreciate their efforts. Especially Cameron, he really stood out to me and helped me immensely.

vehicle was fine. Drop-off point details were a mistake. No drop-off point at location shown on contract. spent some time finding out correct drop-off point and then driving there. Have complained to Enterprise. £200 deposit has not yet been returned, but no reason for it to be retained
The car exceeded my expectations.
However, I was disappointed dropping off the car. The guy I handed the keys to and was waiting on to check the car, neglected to inform me it was intact until I approached him again, even though he clearly saw I was standing by that car when he finally came to collect it.
Returning the car was very quick, just needed to refuel to full. There was some delay during pickup, but they directly upgraded the car to a seemingly more expensive model.
Ordered a transit van but given a Toyota Proace - significantly smaller and almost not fit for the purpose I hired for.
Counter agent demanded I fill out a positive review of his service before giving me the van keys… only then to give me keys for a significantly smaller van than I ordered. Not impressed.
We had to wait the entire afternoon to get the car! It wasted a whole precious day of our time. The staff had a bad attitude and tried to deceive us. We called the day before to confirm a car was available, but when we arrived, they said there were none! They forced us to take an old minibus, and the next day we had to go back to the airport to change the vehicle.
The self-drive trip in Scotland was not as easy as expected, mainly because I'm not used to left-hand driving. However, the car performed very well overall.
I have paid the full insurance from axa insurance from the qued application and the employee in the desk said that my axa insurance isn't valid because it's a third party..obviously it was lie and I paid almost 210 euros for an insurance she told me about the glasses and the tires
