Simple procedure

Renting was convenient, and the car was very new.

Since I only had a US driver's license and not a Chinese one, Avis did not accept the order from the car rental platform. It took two hours to resolve the issue through the platform’s customer service, placing a new order and negotiating a refund for the difference. They added many insurances without saying anything, even though I had already bought them on the domestic platform! The store staff didn't inform me, and the rental agreement was hard to understand. They didn't charge any fees at that time, only pre-authorized. After returning the car and boarding the plane, I received the charge notification via SMS several hours later, after the flight had landed!
