Like: We booked three 'Mustang or similar' and 'Chevrolet Tahoe or similar' so they gave us a Mustangs and Tahoe. That`s was exactly what we looking for.
Dislike: 1. The car has 40-50% of gas in tank.
2. The employee tried hard to sell additional insurance. It's annoying.
3. About 20 min was wait in a line plus about 40 min waiting for a car on parking lot.

I requested a small car to keep the fuel costs down. The car I was given was a Nissan. Sentra, which at the time seemed good but it turned out not only to be a gutless wonder but a gas hog to boot! The car was really noisy as well, so must not have been very well insulated. I will say though that the staff were friendly, polite & helpful.

At the Los Angeles airport location, there were long queues and poor efficiency; it took nearly an hour to get the car. On-site, I was informed that only the main driver's credit card could be used for the deposit, not MasterCard UnionPay, and only Visa UnionPay. The reservation was made under my friend's name, who is the main driver and only has MasterCard. I had prepaid for the car and had a Visa. I contacted the rental company customer service to change the main driver to me or coordinate somehow. Despite explaining the issue three times, they kept repeating: 'You need to prepare a MasterCard or Visa credit card. We're sorry, but we can't solve this.' They totally didn't understand my issue! Eventually, the on-site staff coordinated with a supervisor to use my friend's MasterCard, but it added $150 for insurance!

The car was very new, with only 20,000 kilometers on it. Picking up and returning the car was very convenient. Avis strongly recommended us to rent a GPS, but since the BMW i-Drive system comes with onboard GPS, it felt a bit like a rip-off. However, we ended up renting it because their GPS supported 4G Wi-Fi hotspots and free international calls, though we only used it for internet and calls.

I am originally one of their preferred members. A black employee at the car rental took my credit card and charged me $213.55, then asked me to sign the contract and pushed various insurances on me. I noticed that the $60.55 extra charge was actually a one-way fee, which was already included in my reservation price. After repeatedly explaining this to him and having others check it, they finally completed my rental agreement. The extra charge of $60.55 has still not been refunded to my credit card. Returning the car was very convenient; just park it yourself and inform the front desk at the hotel where I was staying. They upgraded my vehicle to a full-size for free since there were no mid-size cars available. The car was in good condition, practically new as it was bought just two months ago.

There was some trouble communicating due to language barriers when picking up the car, but the staff were very patient in explaining everything. The car provided as per our reservation didn't meet our needs, so they helped us upgrade to a newer, larger SUV. The trip went smoothly without any issues. When returning the car, we just filled up the tank as per the contract and cleaned the car a bit. It only took a minute to complete the return at the designated location, which was very convenient. It's best to rent from a big company like Avis; they are well-organized, and both picking up and returning the car are straightforward.

They added costs arbitrarily and were deceitful in communication. When I booked at the location, the total order was over $215, but upon picking up the car, the staff added over $117 in extra charges without permission. We noticed the discrepancy when picking up the car and raised objections. The staff, seeing that we were Chinese and not fluent in English, deceived us by saying the additional charge was a deposit and wouldn't need to be paid if the service wasn't used. We had our friend in the US call them, and they also confirmed it was just a deposit and there was nothing to worry about. However, when we returned the car, the bill showed a total of $333, including the $117 charge. After asking our American friend to check the pickup order, they explained that an additional $55 and $60 were possible extra charges. We verified with the rental company, who indicated that they had added road assistance and other services at the time of pickup, totaling over $117. The rental company stated they would help us file a complaint but couldn't guarantee success. This was very frustrating, and I recommend not choosing this company.

However, when I returned the car near San Francisco, I was charged over $40 extra for returning late. I called AVIS to inquire, but they said there was nothing they could do since I had signed without reading the details. Originally, the rental cost was around $80, but I ended up being charged over $70 more, almost doubling the price. This experience was extremely disappointing and felt deliberately deceptive. I had already booked a seven-seater SUV with AVIS through Zuzuche and paid in advance, but when I arrived they said there were no cars available and tried to give me a four-seater. Even though I had purchased comprehensive insurance, they kept trying to sell me more insurance.
It took almost three hours from queuing to getting the car. In the end, I had to reluctantly buy additional insurance to get a seven-seater, which was actually a car that had just been returned and not yet cleaned.
This rental experience was really terrible and the service was extremely poor.

However, when picking up the car with a US driver's license as per the order, I was hassled by an AVIS employee who insisted on purchasing additional insurance. After contacting Zuzuche hotline, I paid the extra amount to avoid delaying the trip. The rest of the journey and car usage went smoothly. I hope Zuzuche can help me get a refund for the extra payment soon. Also, a tip: try to get service from Americans in the US, it's less complicated. Avoid seeking help from Chinese staff if possible.

This company is so unfair! Arrived at LAX on the 22nd and waited in line for an hour and a half. I reached the airport at 11 PM... got the car around 1 AM... the car looked new, a red Mustang 5.0, made me feel the wait was worth it! On the 23rd, around 8 PM, I parked the car to go for dinner, and when I came back at 9:30 PM, the car broke down... couldn't shift gears at all! Called them, they said they would send a tow truck and bring a new car to our place, which seemed reasonable, so we waited for the tow truck! By midnight, they told us it wasn't coming, the tow truck company refused the job, and asked us to leave the car and be present the next day for towing. (The first time they told us to leave the keys inside and just go.) They didn't even inform us what time the tow truck would come the next day... after negotiating with the parking lot for a while, they allowed the car to stay overnight... the next day around 1 PM, the tow truck finally came and swapped our car for a yellow Mustang 2.3. Our whole day was ruined... and they refused to compensate us. This was a horrible experience!!!

The process was long and they took advantage of the fact that English is not our native language. They said there would be no extra charges on our package, but we ended up signing anyway. They even asked us to give them the pickup slip, and when we returned the car, we found out we were charged $81.52 for insurance. Who would buy insurance worth almost half the prepaid amount of $189? It's ridiculous. Luckily, a supervisor corrected this when we reported it, but if not for another foreigner having billing issues, who knows how long it would have taken to resolve our problem.

I'm certain I didn't request those services, and I even asked during the rental process if there would be any additional fees besides the upgrade fee and was told NO. However, they charged me upon return, and there was no one to reason with. I'm puzzled as to why these charges weren't deducted when I picked up the car but only when I returned it. It's clear they are taking advantage of the fact that you might not read the contract carefully, which is very frustrating.

Having rented cars in many countries through the Zuzuche platform and directly from local stores, this company is the worst I've ever encountered! 1. The car model did not match our reservation (it was several tiers lower than the models listed on Zuzuche). Complaints to Zuzuche were futile (they said each country has different vehicle classification criteria, not based on price, how ridiculous!). 2. The staff was extremely inefficient. When it was finally my turn, I realized the delay was due to constant promotion of their products! Despite having already bought insurance, they kept pushing more products, warning of possible incidents if we declined — basically, scare tactics! After a 13-hour flight, we waited another half-hour in line, followed by an hour of arguing! Moreover, the staff's attitude was terrible! 3. No one showed us where the car was. We had to find it ourselves in the parking lot. The car was old, with crumbs and snacks between the seats — disgusting! 4. The platform claimed GPS was included, but upon arrival, they tried to sell us a paid GPS. When we refused, they gave us one entirely in Spanish, making it unusable!

It was a really bad experience. Initially, the deposit was said to be $200, but at the store, it was changed to $250. They overcharged me $50 for fuel on the contract. When I returned the car, I filled up the gas tank, and I contacted customer service to get a refund for the extra fuel I added. I provided my credit card statement, including dates and amounts, but it was useless. They required the number of gallons, the specific gas station, and other specifics. Returned the car on 7/30, and on 8/15, they charged $450, claiming there was a smoke smell in the car. This is nonsense as I don't smoke, and when I returned the car, the staff inspected it and didn't mention any smoke smell. How could it smell like smoke 15 days later? The rental car customer service was unable to resolve it, so I had to call myself. After some argument, the Avis customer service said they would refund the money. It's simply extortion.

The car pickup was slow, making customers wait for almost an hour; the car was not in good condition, as soon as we hit the highway, it warned us that a tire pressure was low, making us nervous throughout; contacting the rental car customer service to return the car, we were told they could only try to apply, with no guarantee of success; reluctantly, we had to visit a repair shop the next day to check if the tire needed repair or the car needed replacement. Initially, a repair shop employee checked the tire and suggested we change the car due to poor tire condition. Since the Los Angeles airport store was too far, we tried the Pasadena store to see if we could swap cars. However, they told us they had no available cars and found no issues with the tire after their inspection, leaving us confused. Finally, to avoid trouble, we decided to use the car temporarily but had to abandon our plan to drive to San Francisco and only explored Los Angeles and nearby areas for immediate assistance, if needed. Luckily, no major issues occurred in the following days.

The process was quite fast even though the customer service staff were chatting, it didn't take long. I chose a Ford but got a Nissan, which was new and easy to drive. When returning the car, the person at the lot intentionally made things difficult by saying my order was closed by someone else. When I went inside, they said it wasn't closed and sent me back out to ask him. This back-and-forth happened three times until someone inside came out to help me and I finally got a number to complete the return process. The lady inside firmly said the order was fine, and only then did the man, with a cunning look, write down the number. I was already in a rush to catch a flight, and this made my experience quite bad! If none of these issues had occurred, it would have been great!

Poor experience. I asked the shuttle bus driver which terminal to go to when boarding, but the driver's announcement was too quiet, causing me to miss my stop. AVIS is a well-known car rental company, and I've used them before, thinking they should be fine. However, in late March, I rented a car at Los Angeles Airport and encountered an unprecedented situation. Arriving at the AVIS airport rental point around 3 PM, I saw a long queue at the counter, nearly extending out the door. After about an hour of waiting, I finally completed the paperwork. I thought I could just take the contract outside and pick up a car, but was told by the staff there that I needed to wait another 1-2 hours for the car. I was shocked and only then noticed many others waiting for cars. Eventually, I got the car after 6 PM. Not only was the pickup slow, but returning the car also had issues. About a week after returning the car, I found a $102 charge from AVIS on my credit card. Customer service said it was for refueling since the car was returned without a full tank. However, I clearly returned it with a full tank, which was checked by the staff at the return point. After providing evidence and having customer service contact AVIS, I finally got the $102 refunded to my credit card last week. Kudos to the rental service's customer support for their responsibility and efficiency.

Avis service was good, but I rented a Camry and got a Malibu XL... a fighter jet. On the way to Las Vegas, the warning lights came on and it lost power, felt like the turbo was broken.

Had to wait in line for an hour late at night. The additional driver option in the order was missing, and had to resolve it through Zuzuche. The final solution was to pay upfront and get reimbursed after completing the order.

The car return process was quick and the service attitude was great. Especially during the car rental, the staff were very friendly and chatty. However, after returning the car, I received an email about being charged 9 units for something.

The initial car was not as good as expected - it had a few minor dents, some scratches and marks on the outside. The cabin and interior was however clean and the vehicle drove well. There was a bit of wait- time at the location due to customer volume. However, the staff were courteous and helpful. The uploaded pictures show the first vehicle and the second one we changed.

The car collection was terrible with very off hand designator who told us our car either this or that and no other choice. car had dents and scratches which he was off hand about
Also the car had no oil and a warning light came on and I had to put 4 litres of oil in the engine.
