It's acceptable. There was no Chinese translator on site, making communication difficult for those with limited English. Many places, including banks and hospitals, have this issue. It would be great to have translation devices on site; it's not a complicated thing!

Avis in Los Angeles was the worst car rental experience I've ever had. Avoid if possible. Long wait times and deceptive customer service.

They recommended insurance and GPS. They also asked me to upgrade the car. I thought it was free, but when I saw the cost, I realized it was not free, so I kept my original option.

AVIS service was decent. There were not many people when I went, so I got the car without waiting in line.

I requested a small car to keep the fuel costs down. The car I was given was a Nissan. Sentra, which at the time seemed good but it turned out not only to be a gutless wonder but a gas hog to boot! The car was really noisy as well, so must not have been very well insulated. I will say though that the staff were friendly, polite & helpful.

The booking platform was easy to work through and would happily recommend.
