Smooth process

Overall, it was a good experience. After all, they are a big company. The car we got was clean, though it wasn't a Ford Focus but a Kia. There was a note in the car saying it had been cleaned. There was a small paint chip on the car door, which we photographed when picking up the car. So far there haven't been any charges or disputes.

They take advantage of customers' unfamiliarity with English contracts and forcefully charge insurance fees, which can be about 70% of the rental cost.

Insufficient staffing, very long wait times

Service was warm and thorough, considerate of customers. Our 15-day trip across the three Hawaiian islands would have been impossible without the rental car. The car rental played a crucial role in enabling a perfect trip.
