The car was great, a Dodge with over 10,000 kilometers.

QEEQ forgot to help me with the insurance! I had to pay a high price at the counter for insurance and special airport fees and taxes. The rental company's counter staff were very patient.

A terrible experience!!! I don't understand why the so-called prepayment with basic insurance is completely irrelevant when you arrive. You are forced to add so-called local insurance which doesn't even cover personal injury. Although I eventually resolved it after arguing, how many clueless fellow countrymen got scammed?! In the end, the total cost of my rental was: 6 days rental with basic insurance prepaid for 1055 RMB or 143 USD (personal third-party liability insurance 20 USD per day, full tank of gas 35 USD, taxes). I won't choose this rental agency again. There are two different pricing systems for domestic and international! There's no guarantee or sense of security at all!

The car was awesome and as expected and great value for money. It took over an hour to get my car, when my parents took Avis and took 10mins to get their car. Both Dollar and Thrifty are the same company and have the same car line. Not good and would go with another car company because of this. Drop off was great with an excellent lady that helped us out.

Like: Excellent comfortable car, worked perfectly for our family of five. Sat Nav was essential.
Dislike: On arriving at the desk on time for our car, I was told that it wasn’t ready and they were waiting for a minivan to come in. Having prebooked the car and very tired from a trans Atlantic flight I was very surprised by this. We had to wait over 30 mins in the end.
