Nous avons attendu presque 2 heures pour récupérer notre véhicule, avec 2 enfants et étant prétendument en file "prioritaire". Aucune vérification du véhicule effectuée par EuropCar lors de sa récupération. On nous a proposé une upgrade vers un véhicule "offre spéciale super interessante": plus de 2 fois plus cher pour avoir un véhicule de catégorie supérieure: scandaleux !
There is a dedicated building for car rentals outside Nice Airport, with several rental companies having counters inside. Europecar seems to be the most popular in France as the queue was the longest. We waited almost an hour to get our car. The staff, however, were quite friendly. Overall, we were quite satisfied.
When I arrived, the line was very long, and I waited quite a while. The service lady's attitude wasn't very good, possibly because it was crowded and her English was poor. However, she did confirm if my luggage could fit into the rented convertible mini. So, there wasn't much to complain about. Returning the car was very convenient; as soon as I drove in, staff came up to guide and check the car's condition. The return process was smooth and quick!
Surprisingly there was a long queue and the staff were doing their best but also were helping each other with issues so waiting times exceeded expectations. I assume though it was a one off thing.
The car was parked horribly. There was no space to open the door not to mention the distance to the next parked car was maybe 20cm. I had to get in the car from the back seat and crawl to the driver seat ! I hope this won't happen again.
I will yet try Europcar again.
Dislike: Just small problem with pick up as I didn’t receive my number problem with computer so I waited a long time before realising I needed a number.
