CAR RENTAL REVIEWS ON EUROPCAR IN PODGORICA

This company is nothing but a gang of thugs. They never informed us that adding an extra driver would cost more at the time we took the car. We were told at the end that adding a driver would cost 60 euros plus other charges. Also, they changed the car to a Hyundai without confirming with us. The Hyundai has a low chassis and a plastic mudguard at the bottom. Montenegro roads are mountainous with gravel and uneven surfaces. When returning the car, they only checked the mudguard, which you can only see by crouching down. They found a scratch and scammed us for 140 euros to replace it. They also told us our insurance was incomplete and made us pay an extra 90 euros. In total, we were scammed out of nearly 400 euros. I've heard some people were scammed out of 1000 euros. Almost every Chinese customer gets extorted.

Counter staff very rude. We waited over minutes on both rental and drop off. I travel frequently to Montenegro this was the first and last time. I Will never rent again

I was forced to buy snow tires, but the snow tire was a spare tire, which means if it snowed, I had to change the tire myself. The fuel gauge was not checked when picking up the car, and there was only half a tank of fuel left. I filled it up, but in the end, I didn't even use up half a tank. The extra fuel was not refunded, causing me a lot of loss. Actually, the price of renting a car directly at the counter is the same as Zuzuche.

The guy at the counter was super nice and friendly!

Overall, I am quite satisfied. They provided an alternative BMW model.

I needed to pay for 2h of parking at the airport when I've picked up the car or I would not exit, this was strange. Some weird operations with blocking the funds - the blockage was cancelled during the trip and then thay have added one additional transation for 0.01$ upon return - so no cost for me, but just a weird feeling.

Great experience as usual.

I was asked to buy full insurance at price of 350 Euro on top of basic 90 Euro. No negotiation. No other choice.
