We forgot a driver's license at home and they were very unwilling to change to a different driver. They did not allow a change, then tried to push us into a very expensive total insurance cover and scare us off from canceling the old and making a new reservation (it would be expensive, would take hours - neither was true).
The service was excellent. You can still rent a car without a personal credit card if you purchase full insurance. In this case, domestic insurance can be considered optional. Remember to fill up the tank before returning the car; otherwise, a service fee will be charged.
It's truly frustrating, extremely frustrating. You can only park at P1, and if you accidentally go to P2, you have to take a big detour. The navigation at a roundabout is inaccurate, almost causing me to miss my flight.
Terrible, too hard to find. Spent an hour searching and had to leave the car on the road before going to the counter to get help. They showed me the way on the navigation, which is how I found it. Asked them to drive it over for me, but they flatly refused.
The pickup location was extremely difficult to find. The second and third floors of the airport parking lot are not connected. I spent over an hour searching for the drop-off location, going in and out multiple times and incurring parking fees. Almost missed my flight because of this! The pickup process, however, was very smooth, the counter service was good, and getting the car was straightforward.
The Record staff was extremely unpleasant, threatening that if I didn't buy their €159 insurance, there was a high chance that the €1200 pre-authorization would be charged. They mentioned potential issues like tires being punctured by nails, making it seem as if they might have tampered with the car. Their attitude was very bad if you said no to the insurance.
Car had significant damage on car door. Told they don’t fix damage until the end of the season (september). Rang customer services and said we were not happy. They said it’s a free country and hung up. Never again.
I understand if they don't have the required model, but their attitude was really poor. There wasn't any reverse parking assistance either, making it very stressful to drive through small towns with narrow streets. They seemed particularly impatient as well.
