The car rental process was simple without any insurance upselling. It took just 5 minutes to complete the paperwork. After that, you collect the keys and get the car from the parking lot yourself. QEEQ previously mentioned that an international driving permit was required, but that wasn't the case. I confirmed through the official website that an English translation of my driving license was acceptable, and they accepted it without any issues. Furthermore, I booked a mid-size car (expected i40 or BMW 1 series), but they upgraded it to a Mercedes 220, which was great. Returning the car was as easy as driving to the return location, where a staff member inspected the exterior and dashboard in 3 minutes. The final bill was emailed to me the same afternoon.
Not bad. Chose this company because its brand is close to HERTZ and EURO CAR but with better pricing. However, the remaining cars available were all Japanese models which I'm not fond of.
Rented a car in Zurich for a 7-day self-driving trip in Switzerland, returned it at Geneva airport. Overall experience was excellent. Pay attention to routes when driving in the city.
At Zurich Airport, the guy in charge of handing over the car mentioned a lot of fees and said the car was brand new. He required a 2000 CHF deposit. In reality, there were a few scratches. Thankfully, we took some random photos before departure; otherwise, it would have been hard to explain.
In addition to credit and debit cards, you can now pay for online car rentals with cryptocurrency! Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) are accepted. Curious about how long a Bitcoin transaction takes or how to pay with Bitcoin? Read our FAQs for more details.
