Exit baggage claim area door #2. 2.)Walk across both sets of roads into the parking garage and turn left immediately after the elevators. 3.) Continue walking to the end of the parking garage to the white awning. 4.) Follow the path under the awning to the covered bench where our shuttle driver will pick you up. 5.) Pick up area has a phone with a direct line to Fox for shuttle pick up.

COUNTER: Proceed directly to the Rent-A-Car building to the left, which is located directly across the road from the baggage claim area. CARS: Parked in the garage connected to the Rent-A-Car building. RETURNS: Follow the car rental return signs to the car return area. Budget is the last car return entrance at the very end of the return area past all other car rental companies. AFTER-HOURS RETURNS: Accepted: Park & lock the car. If arriving before 4am take the completed contract & keys and drop off at the rental counter. Remember to take your personal belongings with you. The rental counter closes after the last flight comes in and re-opens at 5am.

When returning the car, I placed the keys under the windshield, but the staff couldn't find them and sent me a $150 bill. How could they not see the keys in such an obvious spot? Unbelievable!

Budget is always on point for me. Friendly staff, efficient rentals. This particular car didn’t look like it had been cleaned - it had a wonky smell to it and I found the previous renter’s rental agreement in the side arm rest storage. However, it was a quick one day, one way rental and I liked the fuel efficiency, so I simply did not really care.

Only waited a minute or so. Agent was ok, didn’t find booking at first and then nagged about the necessity of an upgrade despite it only being me with virtually no luggage. Car didn’t have a sun pass sticker which was annoying as I forgot mine at home and needed to take a detour to avoid pay by plate on the turnpike

I made my rental at Ft. Meyer, FL; however, I flew into Punta Gorda. They didn't have a reservation for me obviously. They found a car for me to use; however, it wasn't the easiest car for two 60 year old women to use. It was an older Jeep, extremely high to get into, almost impossible for anyone to get into the back seats (we had to shove the two ladies joining us into the back by pushing their behinds), and getting out was difficult because there were no handles to grab onto. It was my fault for making the reservation at the wrong airport but you'd think there would have been a better car available. It was the off season and a Monday. The desk people were terrific and we had a lot of laughs about it after we returned it. I will never make the same mistake twice I assure you.

Fox rent a car was off airport in Fort Meyers where I picked up my car. Finding the shuttle pickup location was easy but there was no shuttle there when we arrived at the shuttle pickup location. There were 2 other couples there waiting as well. I used the phone in the shelter and was hung up on, I called the 800 number on my reservation and was sent to a voicemail that was full. After about 45 minutes the shuttle finally showed up and the shuttle driver said he had just left the shelter, which was a lie. We got to the off airport location to actually rent the car and the guy at the service desk seemed to not know how to work his system. It too us over 2 hours to rent a car from fox rent a car. I will never rent from them again and highly discourage anyone else from using them

Staff was very friendly and helpful. I was given a different car than ordered because it was needed at MCO. The car needed to be hosed down to clean the body and especially the windows, which were very dirty.

Counter staff kept trying to sell expensive add-ons with vague explanations. Became somewhat surly when refused. Car's 12 volt plugs were inoperative. Cell phone ran out since it could not be recharged. I mentioned this on return but attendant could not understand my comments.

Our flight was delayed and Advantage had us on hold for a long time. Then when we told them our flight would be late they told us they closed at 11pm. We were stranded at the airport from 1am - 5:30am. They told us they would hold our car for 24 hrs. When we called for shuttle at 5:30 am it came to get us. When we arrived at the car rental there were NO cars for us. I asked if we were supposed to get here at 11:00pm and you closed where is our car? We are here when you opened. She said we would get the first car returned. They were having trouble getting people to return their cars. ??? Car had lots of scratches but ran well.
