The price seemed good on the surface but we never got the car & had to book one at GreenMotion up the street. BUYER BEWARE: you must have a hard copy of insurance...... they would not accept our electronic insurance copy(as every other rental company does), nor had a printer or any accommodation to work around that. So I booked a car somewhere else as we sat in the tiny waiting room & took an Uber to get it. Was ultimately still cheaper than paying the hefty insurance cost One Switch wanted to charge.

Looked like a scam, one guy sitting in a remote trailer with ZERO interest in renting cars to people. Turned us and another family away because they wanted my full auto insurance policy in writing, even though I had a valid insurance card. We were stranded, had to walk, and call an Uber to a legit rental car place. Avoid this place at all costs.

This deal was a scam. It was not obvious that specific insurers were accepted otherwise they would tack on lot of charges. If you carried Platinum credit card, these charges can be waived.
I will never rent from here again and will tell my friends to intentionally avoid One Switch.

And the rental place proceeded to tell us Our insurance was no good and said we would have to pay an additional $25 dollars a day. We said no way were they were going to get away with that. Since our flight had been delayed twice, we finally reached Orlando by midnight. It had been a long journey and we were met with hostility and aggressiveness at the counter. The man asked for all these extra documents, such as a passport when we’ve NEVER been asked to present such document with any other car service in the United States. I am from New Jersey so I have a legal license. When we got there, there was a bunch of hidden fees not once mentioned on their website. They then even asked for a 1,000$ security for a car that was only going to be in our possession for 6 days. Needless to say, we left quite disappointed we thought we had found a cheaper option, but it just turns out with all the hidden fees, the value of renting with this company amounts to the same as other name brand ones. This company also has you pay for the sun pass experience even when you don’t use it. This is a nonnegotiable charge that we had to pay even when we didn’t use one toll. There is also a charge associated when one uses their own insurance, something that we have not encountered with other companies. After this horrendeous experience, we begin our mini vacation. The following morning a car sensor’s went off declaring that the car required maintenance. The fact that this company would issue customers a car that requires maintenance is insulting. When we tried to contact the company, they gave us a phone number to send them pictures too, but they didn’t even bother on opening the message much less contact us after the initial call. With the car in this condition, we felt unsafe traveling along the highways. This ultimately ruined our vacation.

Horrible customer service! They had me wait in the heat for over an hour. Then they tried to charge me to use my own vehicle insurance. I had to prove to them it was not in my booking that I had to pay 9.99 per day to use my own insurance. They wanted to nickel and dime me for every extra charge. After making me wait in the hot sun because they have a cargo container for a customer service area. I do not recommend this company at all! Stay away!

Car was fine, small economy car. Picking up the car was HORRENDOUS. Shuttle bus driven by non english speaking driver, had no idea if I was on the right shuttle. Got to the container office in the middle of a parking lot, 6 miles away, only to find out that I could not use my OWN Florida insurance with out an additional $10 per day charge, I could not use my OWN Sunpass Transponder with out possible fines, Difficulty in communicating with a non english speaking staff. They video taped the delivery condition of the car, I imagine to scare renters into taking exceptional care of their vehicles. My affordable car rental had extra hidden charges of more than $160.00. Never ever have I had such a frustrating car pick up. Will never go off airport property again.

DO NOT BOOK HERE. This was a terrible experience - we arrived at the pick up several hours late due to a flight delay. The shuttle dropped us off at a very frightening, dark parking lot with a locked, dark trailer which no one was inhabiting. We tried the three phone numbers provided by One Switch and received no answers on ANY numbers (this was 9pm, and business hours on the website stated they were open until 11pm). As a young woman alone, with large luggage, I was frightened and without a place to go or car. I finally made it back to the airport and had to rebook a car completely with a different company. I hope EasyRentCars will discontinue working with this company as this is unsafe and extremely unprofessional.

If the rating scale was 10 being great down to 0 being the worst then I would give an extremely large negative number to rate this company because it is the most awful and unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. In addition to this being a truly terrible experience I now have a fraudulent charge from here that my credit card company is disputing and taking care of. After that is resolved I am seeking further legal action against this company. I will make sure everyone I know and even people I don't know never ever use this company.

This was not a great experience, to get there and be told I would have to have $700 put on my credit card did not impress me, I did not see it in the fine print, also they make you get a sunpass even if you don't use it, I might have used it once they made $75 off me for a week of sunpass that I did not use, I would have wanted to pay at the sunpass but no they got me there too, and the car had alignment issues the rubber in the trunk kept coming out, and i made sure to take pictures of the car as I left so I wouldn't be charged of all the dings and dents this car had, I wouldn't go through this again I would much rather pay at the airport and save myself these hassles just to save money that actually costed me more. Plus trying to find the place you have to take a shuttle and if you call they speak very little english and you can't understand them and then they hang up on you not a good experience. So glad to be home.

The vehicle was not as expected. I was told it would be either a Jeep Cherokee or something comparable and what I received was not comparable. The vehicle had clearly been in an accident as evidenced by the dents of the metal around the windshield (we were told by the agent that a previous driver had run into a barricade and shattered the front windshield and caused the dents). There were still small pieces of glass embedded in the steering column as well as on the floor board of the drivers side. There’s was a caution light that showed two vehicles colliding on the dash which was on the entire we had the vehicle. The vehicles tag was expired (noticed after we left the lot). The pick up location is off to the side in an extended parking location (unless you’re taken there by the bus from the airport good luck finding it). The rental space is a converted truck trailer that barely fits 4 people. There’s no waiting area and nowhere to sit down. The lot outside was pitch black and we had to examine our vehicle with a jumbo flashlight. The agent asks you to sign a screen prior to showing you what you’re signing. When I objected to this I was sneered at and told this was common practice to sign it and he would explain later. The fine print on the website lists the insurance carriers they accept (at least 8)as well as a need for a $3,000 hold on your credit card. When we arrived the list of accepted insurers was dwindled to 4 and a restriction indicated that insurance would not be accepted if you’re insured vehicle was older than 2016 (this was not listed on any fine print only once you arrived at the pick up location). When we returned the car we advised the agent about the expired tag and proceeded to look at the other vehicles in the lot. Out of 10-12 cars all but 3 had expired tags. Overall the rental experience was horrendous. I would not recommend this company at all. Unprofessional and in my opinion practicing predatory and unsafe rental practices.

This car company is a scam. They run in a small shed which is almost 20 miles away from airport. After getting in there, they will say that your own car is should be more than 2017 model , otherwise you need buy CDW insurance which 25$ per day. If you say then they will say you can go back to aiport and book a new vechile , and the airport is almost 1 hr away. There are no restrooms and the service is bad. I never saw in my life which a proper document on Collision damage, they charge you money. If you see anything with the name One Switch please cancel the reserveration immediately.. WE DID NOT GET A CAR. WE HAD TO RENT FROM THE COMPANY ACROSS THE STREET. THE PERSON BEFORE US NOR THE PERSON BEHIND US IN LINE WERE ABLE TO RENT CARS EITHER. Beware that it's in a back of a park and ride in a metal shipping container. Thank god I wasn't alone since I flew in at night and had to pick up the rental at about 930 pm. It wasn’t expressed prior to pickup that my personal car insurance wouldn’t cover the rental car if the personal car was older then 2016. And that in Florida it is required to purchase speedy pass for tolls, even though I had a personal one. Which caused the car to be more then expected.

It was incredibly hard to find the pick up location and not very well signed. I also was forced to buy insurance coverage that I did not want because they would not except my insurance carrier. Just cost me an extra $50 which was half of the cost of my rental car agreement that I bought from the website but I didn’t have another option because there was no other rental car counter is near this location. Did not speak very well english. Insisted I needed extra insurance even though I checked with my insurance, and they also listed my insurance as acceptable insurance. This place is the shadiest place I've ever tried to rent from. Talked to the shuttle people and they said there's been lots of problems with these people before, many many times. Would never want anyone to be scammed by these people again. They gave me an old car that was pretty dirty on the inside. Call ahead and confirm necessary insurance. Don't waste your time with this place! Yes, this place is extremely shady. They use gmail addresses for everything. Really not professional at all.

Waiting for too long to get a car, when I was driving on the road about 30 minutes I got a flat tire after arriving to my hotel . I called the counter service or someone denied helping me out, service business is very poor, occupation is unprofessional . Pick up was a disaster. Once there they required an insurance document that was not in the email.
They wanted a printout of the coverage and there totals. My card with the policy number was not enough. Total scam!
They clam it was stated in the confirmation, which I showed them that it was not. Further, because my wife name was at the top of the specific insurance document and even though I had a copy of the insurance card with the policy number with both my name and my wife, it still was not good enough. I had to have Nationwide send the document. Almost two hours to finally get the car. If I was at the airport, I would have just gone to a more reasonable rental car company.
Further they have a printed document stating they only will allow three insurance car companies, Nationwide was not one on the list.
I am not sure who is at fault here, Easyrentcar or One Switch.

One switch uses illegal practices such as bait and switch. They make you prepay the rental for what you think is a great deal. They told me that I could use my auto insurance because i have full coverage and then when i got there told me i could not because my vehicle was not a 2016 or newer. They charged me $206.00 for insurance. Then they try to bully you into getting a sunpass. TOTALLY RIDICULOUS!!!

The car had a slow leak in the front left tire so I had to stop twice to pay money in a air pump machine to fill in up. When you drove slow, you could feel like one of the tires were out of round because you felt like you were riding a horse. Also, it made noise in the back tire area like something was stuck in it but I couldn't find anything. When I was going slow, people around me would motion to me that I had something wrong with the car. It was clean, had plenty of room from 2 people with 2 large suit cases and 2 small and got great gas mileage.

We thought we had a great deal, price wise, for the 4 days we rented the vehicle. But upon pick-up of vehicle (going through/signing of the paperwork), we were unpleasantly surprised that we had (forced) to obtain their liability insurance although we told them that we had our own. The car was much bigger than the one we selected which was fine except for the gas usage. They charged a $1000 deposit even though we purchased coverage through EasyRentCars and had my own auto insurance. They also did not give me a receipt at drop off and then charged me an additional $120 without contacting me or giving me a reason for the additional charges. I would definitely avoid one switch for future rentals.

This company has a couple different names - Nextcar and OneSwitch. There may have been a third but I can’t remember. They operate in bait and switch mode. You will pay a price upfront (using a service like kayak, extending to something else like Queeq.com) but that will change significantly upon arrival. No insurance is good enough. While standing there, waiting for an eternity, 2 people walked out the door infuriated with the price changes. I would have followed in their footsteps, had I not already been delayed nearly an hour waiting for their ridiculous shuttle to take me to the office from the airport. I was on a very strict time constraints and forced to stay with this service. My $89 rental became $277 with the additional insurance charges and being forced to rent their sunpass box at $11 a day, plus the tolls. If I chose to decline the Sunpass, I would have had to pay each individual toll plus a $25 fee for each one.
The exterior is filthy, with trash cans overflowing, the lobby is fairly clean, but bathrooms are disgustingly dirty.
I could go on forever about how unhappy I was with this company, but I will just summarize by saying AVOID!
