I was involved in an accident and Fox was no help! George (ID 5376) in corporate told me that Fox took care of the car that was totaled but to help me get back to town (90 miles away) or medical care was not their responsibility. He was rude and when I asked to speak with a manager he replied, "we are the highest". The only good encounter I had was Cody in the Las Vegas office. He showed empathy towards our situation and assured us our insurance covered the car.

I was happy with the customer service I received when picking up the car. The counter person was friendly and professional and the representative at the gate was very helpful in reviewing the car with me. Both made the process go quickly and got me on my way to start enjoying Vegas! Kudos to both representatives. The return went just as smoothly, the representative there was polite and professional, we walked around the car together and she printed out my receipt and told me what charges and credits to expect on my credit card. Overall great service.
The only thing I wasn't happy with was having to take two shuttles from the airport to the car rental place.

depressing agent as I walk in. Grumpy agent despite my efforts to be cheerful. The agent talk in short sentences in heavy accent in whisper. He appeared to be annoyed the whole time. I feel like we had disturbed him for coming in. Never offer a smile from beginning to end. Horrible service!
Return car agent move super slow again not cheerful or friendly although his demeanor was slightly better than the check out agent. I get a sense that Fox rent a car agents are lazy, hate their job and does not like customers.

I have never been straight up swindled by a company in my life. This is exactly what happened with FOX RENT A CAR. My heart hurts every time I re-live what happened to me. You should never do business with a company like fox rental. I told them that I did not need any type of insurance from them since my credit card and personal insurance covered everything. The guy behind the counter, smiled and said okay. He then proceeded to charge me for the personal insurance and told me, don’t worry, it’s just a deposit and it’ll be returned back to you. It’s my fault, I trusted him and signed on because I didn’t think the swindling would be against the law. I felt like I was in third world country or something. Anyways. I will never do business with FOX CAR RENTALS AGAINS.

The car rental process was smooth and great once we got to the car. Getting to the rental place from Las Vegas airport was lengthy and once there, the wait at the counter was excessive. It would have been nice to have a heads up about the wait.

This is the 2nd time I rented from Fox and the service was excellent and accommodating. I wasn't happy with the first car and upgraded the next day and it was done quickly and smoothly.

The counter staff was very helpful. The car that we originally supposed to rent had a strong smell like a dog/pet had been in the SUV although it looked clean.I have animal allergy and is very sensitive to it that triggers an asthma attack. The staff was understanding of the situation and gave us a different rental.
The other thing that I disagree on is that although we paid by credit card, a $500.00 security deposit was charged which I think is too much.

No wiper fluid topped up, electrical chargers didn't work at all, cruise control didn't work every time, tire grip not the best. Paid extra to upgrade and it didn't feel like an upgrade at all.

Took over an hour standing in line to get to agent, then 25 minutes with agent. Toyota or other full size I reserved not available so I was offered an SUV which I didn’t want. Had to find the Manager to finally get a Ford; this took 20 more minutes. On leaving the Las Vegas agency, check out person could not explain how to use speed control, head lights, adjust the mirrors, open gas door, etc; I had to pull to the side of the road and read the manual.

I don't undertand why they are renting specific cars online and when you get to the location they only have 2 kind and on top of that, the cars were all scratched with hits all around. The counter person was rude and and even got attitude after you reject their insurance or any other things they sell.

I didn’t get the right car so the agent told me to upgrade into a standard SUV, Hyundai Santa Fe. She told me for 10.00 a day but in my last e-mail it’s 12.00 dollars that was 2.00 dollars more. The agent that served me when pickup the vehicle Christina, who is a team led, was advised that I had all the insurances required to cover the vehicle and liability. She advised me that she would put the liability insurance @ 13.99 just to show in case something was to happen. She advised me that there would be no charge. So I believe her as she is a team led. Well, at the time of drop off, I was charged $130.00 for the liability insurance. I complained to the manager, who did not speak English well, and said that I had to pay the liability insurance as I did not sign the waiver. Bull shit, I call, She lied to me and got a commission on the liability insurance. As a frequent Fox renter, I was deceived by her and the manager even after I showed both my liability insurance coverage that I have with my insurer. Never again I will rent a vehicle from Fox or Economy who did the same thing to my buddy last week. Folks watch out for these company... They are cheaper than the one at the airport but they screw you with insurance. They will lie in your face to make more commission. Read all the details on your contract and ensure that the contract show what you want or need. Shame on you Christina and Fox Car Rental, Shame.....

Instructions for pickup from Terminal 1 only. I arrived Terminal 3. Thought I had to take bus to Terminal 1, and another to Rental Car Centre.
I thought Fox did a pre-authorization on cc for $150 deposit. Instead they took payment and refund later. Both transactions cost me exchange.

This was my second rental from this location and other than the deposit being $1000 for an SUV, I have never seen a deposit higher than $500 and last time that is what they took, the experience was pretty painless.

Keith made the pickup process so fast and efficient. He answered all my questions succinctly and was the epitome of great guest satisfaction. Very personable and helpful in regards to changing my time to a little later than scheduled. As for drop off, it was a bit disconcerting because there was only one attendant and he was not there when I arrived. He finally did pull up and parked another car and readily scanned the rental car. I cannot imagine if there was a queue and if I came during a busier time. I would hate to be waiting in limbo if I were running late.

I am feeling ripped off because the excuse for the high cost of renting a car was because of a shortage of vehicles compared to the demand. But the car lot was full of cars both at pickup and drop off. So the shortage seems to be no loner the case. So fox and other companies are keeping the high rental charges artificially high now. That is my perception, and why I rated it a 2.

Finding the pick up location was easy enough although I was surprised at how far away it was from the airport. When we arrived the person we dealt with initially told us there were no jeeps available even though we had ordered a Mustang/Dodge Charger or similar via the QEEQ app. Eventually we were told that we could take a Dodge after a short wait whilst the agent went off to check. Then we were told that Fox Rentals don’t recognise our full premium insurance that was paid for using the QEEQ app!! Not sure if this was a ploy to force us to buy their insurance but we did not - not a good experience!
The Car was great and the drop off in LA was easy and done within a couple of mins.
