The staff at the store was very friendly. They didn't push any services on us and simply introduced a few additional services and insurance options. Even when we said we didn't need them, they remained polite and passionate.
Counter help lady was very nice but there was a line of 10-12 customers and within minutes the 3 people at the counter went down to 1. Nothing is automated at Fox. don't care that they are the cheapest. There customer service is so bad, we will never use them again
Very poor service. Didn’t provide a well maintained car. The wind shield was damaged and they never fixed it before giving for rental. People at the front desk in the evening shifts are very rude and unprofessional. They don’t have any manners. I will never go with Fox rentals in future.
“Bad experience and failure by customer service rep to straighten out situation, poor impression”
About E-Z RENT-A-CAR:8.7/10
Deceptive practices while up selling extra driver charge. Quoted $68 for our trip and charges $108, basically quoted for a week rate but we had reserved for 10 days....sleazy practice. Not a lot of money but terrible optics

About AVIS:10.0/10
I originally reserved a five-seater SUV, but they upgraded me to a seven-seater. The Ford FLEX is too long for convenient parking, so I requested a change. They gave me a Ford Explorer with just over 20,000 kilometers on it, equipped with 4WD and hill descent control. Many thanks to the American lady at the AVIS parking lot at Salt Lake City Airport, who patiently used the translation app to communicate with me and helped me get the car change. This made my driving experience in Yellowstone Park extremely comfortable.
“Size of SUV I ordered not available. Had to pay much higher price for a suitable sized car.”
About FOX RENT A CAR:9.3/10
Very disappointed with the car they offered. I rented thru you, a Rav 4 or Santa Fe. They offered ONLY a small Jeep which appeared to be like a compact or small SUV. Had to take a Mitsubishi Outlander at $655.00. Had no choice to go with another car rental company as I had to drive about 170 miles that day. Will never rent from Fox again as their inventory of cars is very limited. Is there anything you can do to get me a partial refund due to the much lesser amount I had agreed to with your company? I was supposed to pay Fox $465.49 for the Rav 4 or Santa Fe, but ended up paying $655.00 for the Mitsubishi Outlander, the only larger sized SUV than the small Jeep they offered. Not fair at all!

How am I guaranteed to get the size car I agreed to if I arrange the rental thru a third party like your company vs directly with the car rental facility?
Car did not exceed my expectation but was sufficient and convenient. Didn’t have to wait long for the whole process, maybe 10 to 15 minutes long and that’s including walking to my rental.

Booking made easy and discounts added made it worth using EasyRentCars.
“Up-sold to a bigger car, otherwise good experience.”
About Budget:7.3/10
We felt that we were up-sold to a Chrysler Pacifica because our reserved car was not available. It turned out that the bigger car was helpful, but we did have to pay an extra $5 per day for this bigger car. The rest of our experience went well.
“Fox rent a car is cheap but the check out experience is awful and you may not get the car booked”
About FOX RENT A CAR:6.3/10
A mid size car is advertised as suitable for 4 pieces are large luggage. The car provided a Kia Soul can only take 1 large and one small piece if the back seat is occupied. For two people it was fine but should not be used in this category.
I also heard the check in clerk tell a client they did not have the seven seater booked available because “We do not have visibility of on line bookings through third party booking sites”. This is appalling and would make me think twice about using them again. The check out service is slow and inefficient. The clerk held on to my credit card and drivers licence for 20 minutes while going to find me the class of car booked. The car did go well and was good value but was full of marks and small dents

Easy to deal with. Price drop protector worked fine but th e difference should be refunded a lot earlier than after completion of the car hire
