I was charged 182 dollars when returning the car, which is a complete rip-off! They said it was for a crack in the glass. How could anyone have seen that when picking up the car in an underground parking lot? I even went back the next morning to show them, and they told me to wait until I returned the car. Now, they're charging me and taking 182 dollars from my deposit! Is this rental company known for these practices? Are they really in need of money? Future renters, beware!
The car was not how I expected as it was quite old. I paid more and chose Europcar as I have experienced cars as good as new. This vehicle had run a lot of kms and was not at all fuel efficient as it was old and not maintained. Just the outside was good... this is not expected from Europcar.
The only downside from Europcar was that the car was really old and out dated. We did rent a similar car category from the airport 2 days back and we got an excellent car but this one wasn't great, old, needed a lot of pressure to raise up on the highways. Otherwise the staff at KL downtown was great and the explanation given to us by Tanu (europcar staff at KL downtown) was good too.
