From Kayseri to Goreme

Despite booking early, there were no Mercedes C-Class cars available, and there was no option to upgrade to a higher class car even with extra payment. Reluctantly, I had to accept a Passat with a small refund.

The car rental company was extremely arrogant, saying they only had this car available and not the model or similar that we booked.

No doubt this is a budget rental car company. I booked a Passat but was given a Skoda Octavia, and they insisted that this was the only car they had. I've rented cars overseas many times, and this was the first time something like this happened. The rental location is hard to find; other companies are in the domestic arrivals area of Kayseri Airport, but this one is in the international terminal. I'm not sure how many people actually fly internationally to come here. Also, the car wasn't provided with a full tank, and I had to return it with the same amount of fuel as when I picked it up, which is quite inconvenient. I would not recommend renting from this company, at least not at Kayseri Airport.

The car wasn't the one we booked, it was downgraded significantly. The staff's attitude was poor. Be firm when dealing with them.
