Overall, the car rental experience was satisfying, despite encountering some issues such as a flat tire caused by a nail during the trip and needing an urgent repair. Renting for 21 days during the busy July season, traveling through 7 countries, and driving over 4300 kilometers for less than 7000 was truly a great deal. The service at the Sicily by Car branch near Milano Centrale train station was excellent. They fully adhered to the contract booked via QEEQ, without any pressure to upsell insurance. The staff assisted with car inspection, and they were responsive to any issues that arose.
The staff speaks poor English, making communication difficult. They forcefully sell insurance and provided an old manual car with 17 damages, saying there were no other cars available. I strongly advise against using this rental service again.
The car rental store in Milan is quite a distance from the parking lot. We had to drag two heavy suitcases across two streets and up to the third floor of the parking lot to find the place. Luckily, a staff member appeared halfway, so we didn't have to search for long.
Aircon didn't work ,but the car was clean, and economical
