The car pickup process was extremely slow, primarily due to heavy sales pitches from the staff.

Very poor experience. Firstly, I booked an Alfa but was forced to choose between a nine-seater manual and automatic. Because the car was too big, I opted for the automatic and had to pay an extra 20 euros. Secondly, I purchased full insurance, but the customer service told me to report to the police for a claim. The police did not accept it and did not provide any incident number. As a result, for a small scratch, the rental company charged me 200 euros.

Waited three hours to pick up the car, which delayed our trip.

It was quite convenient; both pickup and drop-off were very quick. The parking lot and the place to complete car rental formalities were very close to the arrival hall.

I waited just over 2 hours to pick up my vehicle. Then the seat belts weren't set up properly leading to further delays. Despite the best efforts of the staff who were friendly and helpful, they just couldn't cope with the volume of demands placed on them. Also vehicle drop off was a 45 minute wait, very disorganized and not enough staff. again staff were friendly and helpful but overwhelmed with customers to deal with. It was very disappointing and I will NOT choose Hertz again because of this.
