Didn't notice the no smoking sign, a companion smoked a few puffs in the car, got fined 75 Euros. They should verbally inform customers about the no smoking rule when picking up the car, so it doesn't come as a surprise!
Booked a car in Czech Republic. Before booking, I called customer service multiple times to confirm that I reserved a Skoda estate car. However, I was given a hatchback. Upon arrival at the pickup point, customer service was unhelpful, insisting I booked a hatchback. The order clearly states estate car, and even the notes specify other models in the same group are estate cars. Am I blind? The hatchback couldn't fit our luggage, so we had to pay triple to switch to the Skoda estate car. This app is terrible, I plan to file a complaint with the consumer protection agency. Will never use it again!
We reserved our car well in advance for an early August trip, booking as early as May. Booking early only resulted in a cheaper price.
We reserved an automatic car. Upon arrival at the airport rental counter, we were told there were no cars available—not even automatics—and we would have to wait for an unknown amount of time. They then told us they only had manual cars and asked if we were willing to switch. Since all my driving companions were female and couldn’t drive a manual, we decided to refuse. Initially, we wanted to cancel our reservation but later decided to wait, which included making several expensive calls to the rental website's roaming support.
The store staff had a heavy accent and their English was not great. They didn’t appear to want to help us, as we only spoke English.
On the day of the rental, an accident occurred. After the accident, we called the store and followed their instructions, and I also called the rental website's support again, only to be told we could continue renting the car. The issue was that the rental company claimed this was the only automatic car available (absurd reason, and the car provided was not even an Octavia as booked, but a Kia Carens). I wanted to rent a local car in the Czech Republic, but they gave me an imported Asian car. They stressed there was no other automatic car available.
The experience was very disappointing.
After the accident, the store continued to insist there were no automatic cars. It's strange that we booked so early only to end up with this situation. If there's only one or none available, why list automatic cars as available online?
We booked with this store because previous members gave it a good rating (9.2). Were all the bad reviews suppressed?
A few days before our trip ended, we visited another branch in the old city. Their service was excellent. They knew there might be communication issues due to accents, so they wrote down the process and what to expect.
If the airport rental had communicated like this from the start, we wouldn’t have felt so resentful.

I had a lot of experience with renting in various countries and am aware of the scams but I'm so glad I had picked green motion and value for money was amazing. Dominica was very helpful, honest, and straight to point. She inspects the car with you on both pick up and drop off and upon return the deposit transaction is immediately processed and your given a receipt. The car was upgraded at no charge and the previous person's toll sticker was left on the car as it was still valid. Reception desk is inside a fancy hotel and u have direct number to dominica. Would not rent anywhere else.

Platform is good but for some strange reason the rental company received a different time thankfully they were flexible and didn't have an issue
I had no scratches or collisions, but the rental company emailed saying there were two damages on the front bumper and charged me over 200 euros for no reason.
Another one with Green Motion and this one was the best one. Absolutely fast with documents and perfect check (even if I didn’t saw some micro scratches, owner signed it in my documents). No pressure about extra insurance; no need to leave cleaned car (as other times with Green Motion happened).

The service was excellent, contrary to some online reviews. The process was simple, and there were instructions with pictures for the return route. A chubby man assisted with both pickup and return with great patience. Highly commend him.
мы брали машину в аэропорту. пункт выдачи был закрыт и не было никакого сообщения .на сколько времени и откроется ли вообще. ждать пришлось пол часа. потом все было быстро и просто. заплатили проверили получили ключи и поехали.

Car was excelent. With big space and very comfortable. But I bought 27.8 litr of oil for ~300 km. It means that 10 l/km. I drove to Karlovy Vary and back: 2*130 = 260 km and about 20 km in Praha. I do not know, whether the car was not economical (although the car showed me on the screen about 6-7 l/km) or tank was not full. Please check the tank before rent.
