“The experience terrible and I was told if I did not take out the insurance I could’nt even get a car”
About Easirent:4.3/10
My family are standing on the bus shelter for about 45 minutes. The company did not have a vehicle big enough to take the two adults and four small children. After waiting to get the car I was told I had to have insurance otherwise I was not going to get a car. I have hired cars from all around the world this is not the case. I explained I had an insurance policy that didn’t seem to matter despite showing him my certificate. The car had a great big dent in the side of it. Fortunately I took photos of the car before I collected it. The representative Aaron told me it doesn’t matter because I have insurance. I explained to him the dent already. He was not interested as I had insurance. There was one member of staff trying to run a business give lifts and answer the telephone. Absolutely terrible.
Maria the lovely staff member at Easirent made my process absolutely faultless was extremely helpful and even gave me some ideas of places to visit. She actually made the experience so pleasant I will certainly use Easirent in the future.

Good website could give more in regards to photos of the vehicles but many other car rental company's are the same across the board
Extremely pushy on upselling insurance. I do a lot of driving and hire a lot of cars yet even I was beginning to question whether I might need extra insurance. It was not a pleasant experience and other people less confident or who couldn’t afford the excess would have been scared into buying it and increasing the cost to five times the original price! I would rather pay more to one of the “big” companies who accept ‘no’ to do I want extra insurance and not worry about the car the whole time I had it. I was told that it would be, I think around the £100 mark plus £75 for every stone chip... I was visiting friends for an enjoyable weekend not having to worry about the state of the roads, the road to the pick up place is a joke! Not again. Not for me thank you.
I arrived at Belfast Airport at 9.20pm. I called for the shuttle to pick me up but was told that the vehicle I had hired had a blown gear box and they didn't have any other cars to offer me. They were quite blatant and put the phone down!
I went to the offices in the morning. Whilst I was there I rang the number I called the previous morning. A mobile in the Managers' hand rang, but he swore he wasn't there the night before.
No apologies, no ownership of the night before's incident!
“Would choose a more recognised rental company next time with pickup location on airport site”
About Easirent:4.7/10
I was expecting a Ford Focus or equivalent but got a fiesta
The ‘shuttle bus’ was a car, that didn’t have a car seat in it even though our rental was booked with a car seat- not ideal to travel to the pick up with a baby on my lap
Great service, very friendly and helpful gentlemen looked after us at both check in and out and was kind enough to give us a lift to our hotel. Thank you.
“Horrific experience. Bottom line - if you don't buy their insurance they charge £375 for damage”
About Easirent:2.0/10
Waited an hour for them to collect me. They gave me a car that was damaged on every panel then charged me £375 for two microscopic marks that they did not record when I picked the car up - scammed me because I did not take their premium insurance at £38 per day. Held me to ransom. Collection took a total of 2.5 hours because their software is faulty and rejects credit cards but takes them on another machine they have. I could go on......
“I was abused but the manager when I got to the rental place - I was made pay £105 more!!”
About Easirent:3.3/10
Horrific - made me pay more - I couldn’t even afford to eat that night because of it. Scammers the lot of them!! Verbally abused - swore at - shouted at -
I pointed out that their office had cctv and he stopped shouting and swearing - after all that the car was dirty. When I left the car back they demanded they see my fuel receipt and told me if I didn’t have it to prove that I got fuel within a 5 mile radius that I wouldn’t get my £95 fuel deposit back!! Ever heard of gdpr?! AVOID
The senior person on desk was a compete Ahole. Listened to him screwing a couple over -- when he tried the same with me I quickly straightened him out.
Didn't realise that company not actually based within the airport but that didn't actually matter as we were picked up (and dropped back off) quickly and easily by staff. Aaron was really helpful and process was quick and easy. Returned car early without any problems.
I ordered a 7 seater with 4 cases, when we arrived, we couldn’t even get out passengers and cases in the shuttle to the car hire place hence 2 x trips back and forth to the airport. The car did have 7 seats but no other space, I did ask to change the car during the rental period, but was told there were no other cars available. We were pushed to up sell extra insurance and told that our ‘protectmyexcess insurance’ wouldn’t cover bumps on private land (car parks) and given examples to get us to buy the policy, not the worst car hire, but also not the best!
