Very easy to use and love the insurance option and also the reminder texts as a trip comes up. But the text for how to pick up the car was confusing- the pickup was at the Thrifty airport desk and did not require a phone call to have the car delivered.
The store assistant noticed that we had 4 suitcases and thoughtfully upgraded us to an Outlander with a larger trunk. The car, a 2021 model, was in excellent condition and we had no issues throughout our trip. Additionally, being a hybrid, it was quite fuel-efficient. We were very satisfied with the car. The store assistant was of Indian descent and his English accent was a bit difficult for us at first. Thankfully, we met a kind lady who helped us translate everything, which made it possible to sort out the extra driver and full insurance. We hope others have the same good luck as we did.
We spent the bond money when we picked it up and the staffs told me we could get the money back when when return the cars. When we drop-off the staffs told me like a we have to wait for a while (10-15 days). More than 20 days I didn’t get it and I let my brother calling them but they told me to tell te by myself. However I don’t get the bond yet!
Like: Easy to find the store at the airport, easy pick up and drop off. Cool staff Dislike: I've booked through easy rents with full insurance and thrifty didn't recognize it so we had to pay the bond to not pay the thrifty insurance! Unbelieveble! It was 250$ that we could have used in the trip and also almost the price of the whole rent with insurance. Now I need to wait 2 weeks or more to have my money back which I was planing to use now and I don't have it...
