They even wanted to charge me over 200 yuan to change the spare tire! I had to do it myself! I never expected that my first rental experience would also teach me how to change a spare tire! Otherwise, I would have been scammed more! The second serious issue is that I rented a fully insured car! But when I returned the car, they charged me 300 dollars for paint scratches caused by the left rear brushing against a pole! They said it was a deposit! Due to his heavy accent, I only understood part of what he said! I explained that the car was fully insured and I should not be liable for single-party accidents! He completely ignored this! He hurriedly told me the police wouldn't allow parking there and urged me to swipe my card! I was rushing to catch a flight and had no time to argue! He was being entirely unreasonable! Afraid of missing my flight, I swiped my card! Later, I found out they charged me not 300 dollars, but 1000 lira! Absolutely no integrity or justification! This rental experience turned my vacation into a nightmare! I still often dream about being alone by the roadside changing a tire!
