Rented the car for 9 days, the car was in good condition for 8 days, but on the last day, it showed an overheating warning. Please pay attention to vehicle maintenance to improve the rental experience.
The pickup location is inside the airport, but after issuing the document, they just instruct you to find their staff in the parking lot by yourself. It took a long time searching different parking levels and zones before I had to go back and confirm the location again. Additionally, the car's condition was poor, with numerous scratches, an unusual engine noise, and no windshield washer fluid.
The GoldCAR staff spoke excellent English and provided clear and detailed explanations. We purchased full insurance on QEEQ, so they didn’t try to upsell their own insurance.
The counter staff insisted either to deposit big amount of money or purchase insurance with less money deposit.

The car rental process was very satisfactory. The actual car provided was a Corolla—fuel-efficient, agile, and easy to handle. Most importantly, it was quite new, with only around 4,000 kilometers on it. The staff at the rental company were extremely friendly and professional. There was no unnecessary upselling whatsoever. Every time they charged my credit card, they would explain the fee with a copy of the receipt. Moreover, they refunded the pre-authorized deposit to my credit card just one week after I returned to the country.
Terrible experience. The process was slow, and they kept finding ways to charge extra fees. Returning the car was extremely difficult to locate. The additional charges were reported to the rental platform, but they just kept saying they would look into it without issuing a refund.
