Car Pick-up Guide The Penang Airport store is located at counter 5 inside the airport terminal car rental center. Please follow the signs for Galaxy Asia Car to reach the airport counter. Once you have collected your luggage, turn right at Gate 6 in the arrival hall and you will see the car rental counter. If you are picking up the car outside of business hours, please contact the store in advance. Additional fees of MYR80 will be charged from 19:00-21:59, MYR150 from 22:00-23:59, and MYR250 from 00:00-07:59. The store operates as usual during holidays. This is the first ever bad experience i had when i return the car to ASIA CAR. when i was arrived at the airport and calling the staff come over to collect the car but called them 5 times nobody pick up the phone and 20 minutes later one staff pickup the phone with her low tone voice can`t even hear what she talking about .finnally she came over to the car and i told her i have a tight schedules and i haven`t return the gasoline to FUll level.and i said i can paid the sum of (HALF TANK) gasoline here, it just only take RM 50 to RM 70 in everage, but she said i have to paid Rm 130 in total as a penalty. I have not get any decriptiuon from the staff of the penalty in gasoline before i departure .

Terrible experience. I notified the car rental company one day in advance to extend the rental because I couldn't return the car on time the next day. The company didn't discuss it reasonably and directly threatened to report the car missing if it wasn't returned on time.

After six months, they still claim there's an unresolved traffic violation. There are many hidden issues, and I suspect they are causing trouble on purpose.

First of all, it didn't match the description. The store is not in the airport; none of the car rental companies at the airport are this one. We had to call for the car to be delivered, and the person had a heavy accent. There was no sign as claimed. We scheduled the return for 7:20, but upon pick-up, they said 7:30. When returning, they asked us to park in a lot and gave us a card for parking, demanding an extra 20 MYR (I never encountered a car rental return that required us to pay for parking, and there was no mention of a return service fee). We parked at 7:35, and they claimed we were late, saying we should have returned the car at 7:00. Secondly, they didn't inform us that they provided a toll card, so we bought and recharged our own. Thirdly, we didn't eat durians in the car, we only ate at the stalls. It seems like they're just trying to charge us extra. Such an unreliable and non-compliant company; they recorded our credit card information, making us worried about potential fraud. Be cautious when choosing. We regret trying to save some money with this company, leading to a lot of worries afterward.

1/ Arrived at the airport at night and couldn't reach the car rental company at all! The car rental company claimed we canceled the order, but I had the rental confirmation in hand and couldn't find the car. Had to take a taxi to the hotel! Finally, the rental company contacted us and promised to deliver the car the next day. 2/ They clearly took a deposit from me, but the rental company said the deposit wasn't with them and was paid to the booking platform. They charged me 937 MYR and 1409 RMB. Planned to rent for 3 days (over 500 per day), but only rented for two days!

Very satisfied. Make sure to call the number provided in the system when you arrive at the airport. The arrival area has two levels; we usually exit the plane at the first floor and need to go up to the second floor to find gate 5. They prefer Visa cards without the UnionPay logo, but in practice, cards with the UnionPay logo work just as well. Overall, I am very satisfied. My basic English was not an issue as they use translation software to help you.

The service was excellent. Due to a flight delay, the car was waiting right at the airport entrance. When we were an hour early for the return, they were immediately ready. Returning the car at the airport was also very smooth. The service was great.

Pick up location was confirmed the day before but was changed 15mins before time. We had to divert our taxi, it was complicated as we did not know the area. The car was very scratched and appeared very old with 156,000 kms on the clock. It was heavy to drive and consumed far too much petrol for the kms we did. It sounded like the exhaust was needing a repair and the indicators for change of direction did not work properly all the time.

The Van is not toyota Hiace. And actually it is China brand Van. The Van is new. But the China Van Engine is very loud and no power. The transmission is not smooth. I prefer the Vender should not mention this is a Toyota Hiace since the performance is totally different.

Easy to find the counter as it located in terminal. Speedy pick up and drop off process, less than 10 minutes. Book for honda city but upgraded to new Honda civic without additional charge. Car condition is new but abit dusty inside, overall good performance.
