Ace Queenstown Airport can provide customers with a complimentary shuttle service to and from the International and Domestic terminals at Queenstown Airport. • Once you have collected your luggage please call for collection by our shuttle (+64 21 774 178 or 0800 502 277) • Follow the signs for transfers and exit at door D where you will find the shuttle transfer area. • Please wait in the shuttle transfer area for the yellow Ace Rental Cars Shuttle van and signal the driver. You will be transferred to our office for vehicle collection

ACE Rental Cars does not allow to bring the rental vehicle to ferry. You will drop off your car at one port and collect another after crossing to the other island. The cars from ACE are old. I had to get roadside assistance twice during a three-day rental, which ruined my entire vacation.

The car was incompatible with USB/charging of IPhone. This was unacceptable as roads in NZ are long, unpopulated with few services and as I was a lone female traveller the thought of being stranded with no phone battery made me feel very unsafe. Also I was not provided with the central locking key. This was inconvenient, having to first manually unlock the drivers door before I could load/unload stuff into the boot.
