The ACE Rental Cars - Brisbane - Airport car rental location is located out of the airport

Please contact Ace Brisbane for shuttle bus collection (1800 62 04 08 /+617 3565 1800) and then make your way over to the collection points. Brisbane Domestic Terminal: Over the SkyBridge and follow the sign to Bus and Coaches on level one, the ACE bus pickups at bay C1 and C2 Brisbane International Terminal; From the arrivals hall follow the exit for “Coach Departures" and follow the ramp down a short path until the coach and bus parking area. The bus collects at bay 3 & 4. Last shuttle bus pick up is at 1730 during weekdays & 1630 on weekends

Shuttle service to domestic and international terminals from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. DEPARTING FLIGHTS Allow an additional 30 minutes prior to flight check-in time for vehicle return & transfer to terminal.nAfter Hours ReturnsnnAfter hour returns need to be pre-arranged with our Brisbane Branch at a cost of $50. Once arranged the branch will contact you with the relevant drop off details.

Young Driver Fee applies at 18 - 21 years old with charge of AUD 9 per day approximately.

Driver's License Requirements

The main driver and any additional drivers must provide a full physical driving licence with no major endorsements. The license should be held for at least 2 year(s).

For foreign renters, you need to bring:

Please note that an International Driving Permit(IDP) is only a translation and you must present your original driving licence at the counter.

Depending on which island to bring the rental cars to, policies differ:
Tasmania, Fraser Island, Bruny Island, Gove Peninsula, Groote Eylandt, Magnetic Island, Tiwi Island, Rottnest Island

Island is not allowed to use ferries, customers can only travel to the island by overland Bridges.

The service is quite good. I encountered some accidents and my English is not very good. The staff at the store were very patient and handled all the procedures for me, reassuring me multiple times that there was no problem and the insurance company would cover the costs, so I didn't need to worry.

80,000 km car, the condition is average. The store is outside the airport, and they send a shuttle bus to pick you up from the airport bus station. It's best to call them in advance.

The lady at the front desk was very kind. She asked where I was heading and informed me that there was a storm in that area. She even proactively checked the road conditions for me, saying there were no road closures for now. The only issue was waiting a bit for the shuttle, as it doesn't pick up just one person at a time.

Our flight was delayed and they closed at 5 PM. With the one-hour time difference between Sydney and Brisbane, no one contacted me. When we arrived, there was no counter at the airport. I had to call the rental company back home and switch to a different company immediately, otherwise, I would've had to come back the next day. I suggest not going for the cheaper, smaller rental companies; they don’t have airport locations and their phones are impossible to reach. In Australia and New Zealand, where people are scarce, one person ends up doing the job of three.
