Courtesy Shuttle Service operates between the ACE location and Airport Terminals during the hours of 8:00am – 4:30pm Free pick-up and drop-off service to branch for customers from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm serving domestic & international terminals and airport accommodation. CUSTOMERS ARRIVING AT AIRPORT Call 1800 620 408 (+61 7 3268 4400) after collecting your luggage. From Domestic: exit terminal via skywalk following signs for Bus Zone. Ground floor of Bus Zone, wait in areas C1 and C2. International: exit at Coach Departures door, follow ramp to main Coach & Shuttle bus area where the shuttle will meet you.

Drop-off Instructions

Returning Your Rental Vehicle Remember to re-fuel to agreed level when returning your vehicle. Shuttle service to domestic and international terminals from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. DEPARTING FLIGHTS Allow an additional 30-40 minutes prior to flight check-in time for vehicle return & transfer to terminal. After Hours Returns. After-hours arrangements can be made, the customer must contact the location 48hours before pickup, a $50 surcharge will apply.

The car was amazing, very clean and very fuel efficient. Picking the car up was a mission as the person on the phone directed me to the wrong pick up point. Then the man at the counter proceeded to chat with a customer for about 15 minutes while I waited. He didn't acknowledge me and could have wrapped up that transaction in much less time. He was a tall stocky man. Then the other guy who also didn't acknowledged me whilst tapping away on the computer served a man who walked in behind he. Not off to a good start. Thankfully dropping the car off was very smooth and the man was professional and efficient. Restored my faith in this car rental place.

I arrived close to 5 pm on a Saturday and called their customer care who gave me the Brisbane number. Upon calling multiple times nobody picked up so I took a cab ans spent 20 dollars from airport to car rental shop. (Apparently their shuttle only works till 5 pm on weekend). when I arrived around 530 pm the main door was locked from inside but a receptionist was present at the front desk. The distance between the glass door and the front desk was 2 arm lengths. I banged at the glass door several times before she made eye contact and said sorry we r closed. I was so frustrated that the customer care couldn’t tell me this on the phone so I could have organised another car at the airport. Day 2 when I was to return the car, again they told me the shuttle service has shut down and I need to take cab from the rental shop to the airport. Another 20 bucks. I don’t know why do I need to book a cheaper car rental with such poor service standards. They want the money but can’t deliver any customer service. I could get the same thing probably with 10-20 dollars extra at the airport.

Horrible experience with very late pick up from Brisbane airport was a reason me late to business meeting and loosing $200. Also they charged my bank card for $82 additional yesterday without any notice and signing paper from dropping off desk. I might now only guess it was for bringing car for 1h later?

It would be better if Ace gave their customers their local phone number to arrange pick-up from the airport. The 1800 number is just a recorded message. After a long flight it is frustrating to have to wait 40 minutes not even knowing if Ace will come to pick you up. Also had to wait for 20 minutes just to give my keys back at the end of the hire while they signed up new renters. They should have a dedicated staff member handling returns. When I finally got to the counter it took only 30 seconds

Ace Rental staff in Brisbane were extremely quick and efficient and we were ready to go within 5 mins of arriving. They also give essential advice about how to get set up for auto payment of road tolls. Dropping of the car in Sydney was equally efficient and we were all done within 6 mins of arrival. The car was spotlessly clean when we picked it up, inside and out. I cannot fault Ace Rental. Excellent service.

Pickup - was no walk around car to check for bumps and scratches before I picked up. that made me nervous as there were a few notable bumps and dents on it that I took photos of in case they were blamed on me. Also, I accidentally arrived an hour early for pick up and was told to come back in an hour rather than just serve me. Drop off was great, quick and easy with a very personable chap at counter.

Is ACE affiliated with Hertz? I returned a car at Brisbane International and rented another one (due to a different drop-off location) while waiting at the designated spot. ACE sent a car to pick me up. The cars have good value for money; they may not be brand new but still very easy to drive and fuel-efficient. They didn't push for insurance, but I had already bought full coverage. A two-seater car was more than enough for two people.
