Counter staff wasn't helpful and they overcharged us in my opinion. Wouldn't have rented a car if it was going to be $300 for a weekend....absolutely absurd. Weren't helpful once we returned the car, when we got the car lady tried to explain all fees and I get gas/toll pass but those don't add another $140 to put it to $200....ridiculous and wouldn't recommend or use this company again.

So disappointed at Dollar...It was my first time using Dollar (will never use it again) as Easyrentcars gave me a good deal online. When I arrived at Houston IAH airport Dollar car rental counter, the two ladies (named Dee Dee) pulled out my booking records and found out I booked a good deal, they used an excuse and refused to rent the car to me! They whoosed me away from the counter and said: "since you never rented at Dollar before, we did not have your profile, why donot you go any other car rentals???" I was alone in a brand new city and never encountered such situation with rude and unprofessional representatives...

The policy for Toll Road fees was a rip off. $12.00 per day?? When individual Tolls are between $0.60 and $1.50? Unconscionable!

The car I rented did not have a gas cap. Customer service was like talking to a robot.

Dollar overcharged me at the counter. The agent was less than friendly and always high pressure to up sell additional insurance, EZ pass, upgrade, etc.

Counter guy would not honor voucher price. Negotiated half the difference. No more thrifty and no more of you guys.

Advantage was nothing but great trying to help. I will rent again from Advantage.

Thrifty did not have the class of car requested and said the Jeep Grand Cherokee was an upgrade even though that's what you had listed.

1st car at check out needed to be serviced, we had take back and pick another

First car given to me I could not find in the car lot had to go back to change it. The first car was also small than what I reserved.

Manager's special is just a hoax. They only give compact cars when you choose manager's special. You are better off taking compact car and saving few bucks. The customer service is horrible! Long queues, no attendants, no car choices in the weekend, long queues to check out of the lot, you name it and they have it messed up!

i have one comment: budget need to check the car alignment beforehand. my rental car was shaking on 60 miles per hour.

Everything else was fine, but the Jeep Grand Cherokee I booked was replaced with a GMC compact SUV, and the price stayed the same.

had to make extra trip back to airport, engine light on, next car air conditioner didn't work. the 4th car finally worked for us. Never rent from them again
