Great car, disappointing fees.

When I checked in I told the Hertz rep I would be a bit late dropping off the car and did I need to change the booking by 30 minutes. He said no, it was no problem and I didn't need to update the booking. My reservation ended at 1 pm and as indicated, I dropped the car at 1:25 pm. But when they emailed my receipt, they charged me $40 USD for one extra hour! Almost the same price as I paid for a whole day. Very dishonest given I asked in advance and could have amended the booking for a lower cost.

Like: Driving in a big city was far more easier than I expected. Coming from a small country like Iceland (population ca. 340,000) it was easier than driving in Reykjavik! And the man who delivered the car gave good information
