This is a terrible company. The car wasn't even full on fuel when I got it, one segment was missing. The staff were very rude when I returned the car. Initially, they were polite, but when I mentioned the issues, they switched to speaking rapidly with a Mexican accent to brush me off. They didn't even listen to my full explanation and just walked off. The front desk also had the same attitude! If this is how they treat customers, it's better if they don't serve Chinese customers at all. The experience was extremely poor; even a zero would be too generous.

There were five of us on this trip, with four golf bags and five pieces of luggage. I was always worried if the Dodge Grand Caravan could fit all the luggage? What if it couldn't fit? My English isn't good. At the counter, I pointed to the pile of luggage. The American staff came out from behind the counter, walked to the luggage, looked carefully, and informed us that the Dodge Grand Caravan wouldn't work. They gave us an 8-seater GMC instead. Although it cost a bit more money, the whole process was quite pleasant.

Due to a delayed flight, our car pickup time was changed. Customer service responded promptly and helped us reschedule the pickup time with the store. After landing, we followed the instructions and easily found the Avis pickup spot. There were few people in line, and the salesperson did not push any insurance. Overall, we were very satisfied.
At the counter, the staff asked us if we wanted to pay extra to upgrade the vehicle. After we declined, their attitude became very cold, and without our consent, they secretly added a so-called road assistance insurance for $106.80!!! When charged, we asked why, and they said it was a deposit and would be refunded when we returned the car. After picking up the car, we asked customer service and found out it was an added insurance!!! What a scam!!! We will never rent from AVIS again! Liars!!!
When picking up the car, the customer service aggressively pushed several insurance options. After refusing, they said they wouldn't give me the car without insurance. Had no choice but to purchase one insurance plan, costing an extra $14 per day. The service attitude was very poor. However, when returning the car, the customer service was great, polite, friendly, and meticulous.
The lady at the pickup service was very nice and even upgraded our car for free (mainly because the original car would take time to be ready, and she was kind enough not to make us wait too long).
Initially, there was an attempt to sell us insurance, but when we said no, they did not push further.

I booked and paid online in full via the Zuzuche website, but when picking up the car, AVIS staff tried to add extra charges which I declined. They were rude and secretly added a service fee. I've been coordinating with Zuzuche customer service for almost two weeks, and it’s still not resolved.
“Bad vehicle, response from Avis was we should never have let the vehicle go out in that state.”

The car was in a possible illegal condition although this only became apparent to us when we later stopped for food break and looked more at the car u. We noticed the tyres were nearly bald and that a plastic engine cover was hanging down and also throughout the hire a sensor warning light kept going on and off on the dash. The interior was unclean. We photographed the scratched and poor exterior before we left the pick up. The other issues became apparent later during the hire
The queue for picking up the car was very long. Initially, they gave me a pickup truck, but then I went to the counter to exchange it for a Ford Fusion. When I went to get the car, I found out that someone had already loaded their luggage in it, meaning it was reserved for someone else. I had no choice but to go back to the counter and, in the end, I paid extra for a Lincoln. The whole pickup process took more than two hours. The worst part was that the Lincoln had low tire pressure after just one day, so I had to go back to the shop to exchange it for a Ford.
I have been charged 435 US dollars outside of my already paid amount for this reservation.
174 were cut as security and 239 have been cut after we dropped it off. This is highly unprofessional and has not even been authorized.
