There were many people in line to pick up the car, but there were only two staff at the counter, which caused a one-hour wait. However, the return process was very quick.
The car rental company feels somewhat deceptive and lacks transparency. Even if you pay more on the platform and purchase all the insurance options, they still push unclear additional services at the counter. Renting a car through this platform is based on previous after-sale service experiences, but the rental company arbitrarily charges and adds unknown fees, which is extremely frustrating and shows a lack of credibility for a large company. Very disappointing.
Overall, it's very good. Just purchase full coverage on QEEQ, no need to pay for additional insurance, which isn't recommended either. The process is simple.
Had to wait in line for at least half an hour, the service was slow. They showed a QR code claiming filling out the information could skip the queue, but it was useless and you still had to go to the counter. Even if you purchased all the insurance, the rental company would still charge you random fees, requiring discussions afterward. It was a complete disaster.
Actually, it's quite convenient. However, the fees charged at the front desk are not very clear. We should pay for the car upgrade, but I really don’t understand why the other fees need to be paid. I've even forgotten what brand of car I swapped to.
When I came to pick up the car, there was no car available. Dollar couldn't say if or when we could get a car. Dollar did not offer any kind of help, and if we didn't have family living one your away from the airport that could come to pick us up, we wouldn't have any other choice than to stay in a hotel at our own expence. Dollar refused to send me a message when a car would come. The next day we got help to come back to the airport to get a car, and then we actually got one. However, Dollar refused to deduct 1 day from rent, and also charged 15 dollars for toll passings even though we didn't have any car the first day. I've never experienced worse service than that.
