Staff should be trained to speak im English.
It was very hard to communicate with the gentleman who was on the counter..!!
The counter was closed while we were in Antalya Airport, Luckily Easyrentcar have send a number to communicate with them.
The supervisor was in the pick-up point which was little far. & he asked us to walk to meet him...!!!!
“Bonne expérience mais difficile de récupérer véhicule et plein a faire”
About Europcar:7.0/10
“We lost a lot of time and money with the defective GPS. HOPE SOME COMPENSATION”
About Europcar:8.0/10
To be sure to find our way in Turkey we rent a GPS for 42 € . It was not working correctly and we lost 2 hours to find our location because it gave us a wrong way. On many times we had to find our way alone. On drop-off the guy was not abble to give us any explanation
I wait for 3 hours to get the car.
Counter staff was not helpful and make my experience with Europcar very bad.
I forgot a very important Tablet during the drop off, went back within 30 minutes, but countr staff claimed that the has already been rented and nothing he could do for me.
Not at all. The car I hired wasn’t available and received a VW Tdi. No luggage space for all our stuff. Car was given with a quarter tank, broken arm rest and a constant Tyre fault sign which didn’t switch off.
The counter service representative had a blank expression and didn’t for once smile or make me feel welcome while finalizing paperwork.
At the end of my trip I called in to Europacar to mention that the time of drop off will be later they had no problem but I received a call later by the same counter service representative swearing directly at me for the car. I tried explaining that I called in and he shun me by swearing me and dropping the call. Upon my arrival at Europacar I was approached by three men with no identification and I was questioned by them to pay cash extra. I was with my wife and I felt intimidated by these men. I then went in to Europacar and all the representatives just said it’s fine I can go and there’s nothing to sign for handing over the car.
This is the last time I will use Europacar and I have voice recordings and a video to this effect. This was the worst hiring experience I have received from Europacars.
They seem very polite, but they charged me a £200 deposit. There was no accident or scratch, and no mileage overrun. But they later deducted £150, even though I had full insurance! I'm still waiting for the rental company's investigation results. I've rented cars abroad many times and this is the first time I've encountered such a situation. With only two days left to review, I'm writing this for everyone's reference.
“Turkey - Antalya - Fethiye (drove along the Antalya beach and the coastal D400 road).”
About Europcar:10.0/10
The staff was very friendly, probably because they are used to dealing with international customers. They pointed out both the things we noticed and those we didn’t. We had an additional driver, but they didn’t charge us for it (even though the second driver didn’t end up driving).
the old vehicle given to us is not roadworthy and it is a risk to our safety.
The vehicle rattled on the expressway and the tires are completely worn out.
The tyres were skidding in the rain and was difficult to control the vehicle . The interior of the car is stinking and it has done over 180,000 km and is over 11 years old.
A deposit of 900 lira was authorized, but only 600 lira was refunded. About 300 lira was deducted, and I don't know why. I've been waiting for two months and still haven't received a response.
