The company could not process payments using a MasterCard with a UnionPay logo, and consequently refused to rent a car to me. They claimed that the deposit I paid was to the rental website, not to them. They directed me to another company at the store to handle the rental. To avoid disrupting my travel plans, I had to rent a car from another company at the airport for the full price. If I had known this beforehand, why would I have bothered to select a cost-effective rental website?
1. Location: Fairly easy to find. Once you exit the international arrivals at Ataturk Airport, turn slightly left and there is a row of car rental companies. 2. Staff Efficiency: Slow. There was only one person in front of me, but I had to wait for more than half an hour. My flight was delayed by an hour, and then it took another hour to queue up and fill out forms. Although there were other staff members available, only one was handling customers. Not sure if it was because only that one spoke English, but others were chatting with me in English as well. 3. You need a VISA or MasterCard without a UnionPay logo, which was not mentioned when booking through QEEQ, causing me to rush to get a card two weeks before departure. 4. The remaining rental balance cannot be paid in cash; it must be charged along with the deposit on a credit card. Communication did not resolve this. 5. After paperwork was done, we had to wait for the staff to take us to the parking lot outside the airport to pick up the car. Our flight delay was one hour, and Enterprise delayed us another hour and a half, so we hit the road 3 hours later than planned, arriving at the hotel after dark. The late car pickup time was not compensated with a later return time, effectively reducing our rental period by 3 hours, which I find unfair as we were delayed by their inefficiency. 6. Return Location: The Enterprise return location in Taksim is extremely hard to find, and the address provided on QEEQ is incorrect! You must call to ask for directions.
The efficiency of the pick-up counter is not high, and the waiting time is long, but the staff's attitude is good. The car is in good condition. The return process is simple and very convenient.
They refused to rent us a car because we're deaf, citing company policy. As a result, we couldn't get refunds on the deposits for several hotel reservations... Please refund the car rental deposit, thanks.
1: The fee I paid at the store was higher than the price given on the website (with no additional consumption). 2: No Chinese service. An older front desk receptionist had very poor English. Communication was very difficult. 3: The return location is not at the airport terminal. The staff at the airport terminal do not go with you to the car. You have to find the return location yourself. The return process is outside the airport, and procedures are handled at the airport terminal, which is very inconvenient. Moreover, Turkish people's attitude towards Chinese people is not very friendly.
They kept trying to hard sell an insurance that covers incidents without needing to file a police report. Other services were decent. However, the charges were strictly based on their system's prices, completely ignoring the RMB 160.00 we paid to Zuzuche China. Their reason was that the system shows the original price, and there was no room for negotiation. We were in a hurry to pick up the car, so we reluctantly accepted.
The staff was a bit slow and gave me the wrong return address, but luckily I noticed and reminded them. The car wasn't fully fueled when I received it.
Enterprise initially provided a car that was not at the level of a Ford Focus. The car was in poor condition and very dirty, and it had not been cleaned for customers. We requested a replacement, but the staff was not helpful.
The store is about 50 meters to the left after exiting the international arrivals hall at Istanbul Ataturk Airport. The store is small, and the young guy who attended us had a full beard and was quite enthusiastic. The highway toll system is already set up in the car, you just need to confirm the charges when returning the car, which is just a few liras. After completing the paperwork, the car will be driven to a spot outside the hall under a RENT CAR sign. The driver handing over the car does not speak English, so if there are any issues with the car, remember to take photos and show him.
In addition to credit and debit cards, you can now pay for online car rentals with cryptocurrency! Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) are accepted. Curious about how long a Bitcoin transaction takes or how to pay with Bitcoin? Read our FAQs for more details.
