1. First, the car had damages upon return. Despite our repeated claims of having comprehensive insurance from the rental company, they denied it, saying the insurance didn't cover collisions.
2. After returning, we asked them to email us the repair invoice, but they only provided an amount and deducted the entire deposit. They never replied until recently when they emailed about a fine, but still ignored our earlier request to see the repair invoice for insurance claims. They continue to disregard our requests, making it impossible to file an insurance claim! Very dissatisfied with this rental company!
I must give high praise. The vehicle pickup and return services were excellent. They calculated the toll charges right away when I returned the car and refunded my cash deposit (1000 Lira). I asked what to do in case of any traffic violations since my credit card wasn’t working. They told me that if there were any, they would email me and I could wire the money to them. Of course, I should not have committed any violations. The vehicle had only 1000 kilometers on it; it was practically new. It’s worth noting that their airport location is in the domestic arrivals hall. We spent a long time looking in the international arrivals hall and couldn’t find it.
The store location was extremely convenient, right next to the light rail station. The Turkish staff spoke fluent English, and communication was smooth. They also gave us local sightseeing tips. The car was in great condition with just over 8,000 kilometers. It was quite powerful. The only issue was the address error; it wasn't in the OLD CITY area as stated. We had to take the light rail three times, which disrupted our plans. The staff said this has happened multiple times and asked the website to update the address. No translated documents were needed, and they didn't understand their purpose, just asked to see the domestic driver's license.
The car rental process was very convenient. They didn't even check the driver's license notarization and let me pick up the car. I asked if the car was equipped with an e-toll ticket, and they confirmed it was. However, I found the toll charges to be quite high while driving. When returning the car, the rental company assured me it was fine, which made me feel at ease. But the deposit paid via credit card took a long time to unfreeze, and I'm not sure how long it will take.
