Hertz is really terrible. I reserved an M3, but they didn't have it and gave me an old Kia instead, which was hard to drive. Later, I switched to another car, but they said only gas cars were available and asked for a high surcharge. Really disappointing.
We encountered a very rude store service employee who had a terrible attitude. He clearly had cars available but refused to rent one to us, making us wait for an hour until another supervisor-like person came to assist us. During this time, we could hear him mumbling about wanting Thanksgiving off.
Didn’t have the car I reserved. Card reader didn’t work. Had to process card manually. After 3 different cards, and 15 tries. The kid literally said “maybe it’s our card reader” Who doesn’t have chip readers when their entire business is based on credit card processing? Customer service rating below zero if possible.
When I returned the car, the reserves lot no 20 was taken and we were not sure where to park the car. It was not easy calling the given no as it was a Sunday. Overall experience was bad
