The car we got had worn out shock absorbers...

Car was good got me from A-B. But always had the worry the car may cut out as it’s routine service maintenance lights kept on flashing. And the seat height level handle was weak was worried to use it incase it drops the whole seat lower. Which it was too low as it is.

All worked well. No magic this time but maybe next time.

The serviceman at the counter insisted I needed an international drivers license even when it specifically said on East Coasts website that I didn’t. Only after showing him this of their own (!) website did he grudgingly agree.

Explanation of the automatic billing for the road Tolls was good. Explanation of the additional insurance was a little harder to fully understand as this was different to the EasyRentalCars insurance statements.

I hit a wombat and the process to ensure the car was still safe to drive was efficient.

The Price Drop Protector did not come into play.

CAR STEERING VIBRATES VERY VIGOROUSLY WHEN BRAKING AT HIGH SPEED AT THE 70KMH - 110KMH RANGE. BRAKE PADS / WHEEL ALIGNMENT PROBLEMS? VERY DANGEROUS IF ROAD IS SLIPPERY ETC.

Th car condition is great! Almost a brand new car. But the bus pickup location is a bit hard to find and one would need a phone to call them for pickup.

For a change, i have rented car from East Coast car rental for the first time. It all was very smooth. Price was excellent to be honest. Car was in very good shape with no problem. One important issue for me also was that hiring car from Sydney while driving out of Sydney finds me to use short segment of toll roads, and compared with some other companies, who overcharge admin fee to sort this out, EastCoast charges only 3 Aud plus fee for the use of toll road, which is far superior to some hefty fees charged by other companies. Also, service desk sorted my rental within just few minutes on arrival, and similarly the check off on departure was more than smooth, it took close to no time. So overall, very happy with my first experience.

waited for an extreme long time for drop off ride. Their 5 min wait means half an hour, and a "2 sec" wait means 5 min.

The rental office is located outside Sydney Airport and you have to wait for the shuttle to come round. Other than that, the staff were friendly and quick. Overall, a positive experience.
