I had booked with full insurance, but when I picked up the car, the contract did not mention any insurance. I asked the staff about the insurance and showed them my booking confirmation that included insurance. However, they told me that there was no insurance included. I tried contacting the customer service hotline and online support, but couldn't get through, so I had to buy additional insurance. Also, the return location was in another city, and they did not inform me that a password was needed to enter the return area. This resulted in me driving around the parking lot three times before I got out and asked the rental office for the password. I chose the airport location for convenience, but the whole experience was so rushed that I left my clothes and charging cable in the car. Terrible experience!
“Will probably use again but will consider buying insurance upon arrival.”
About Europcar:10.0/10
Car was a Fiat Egrea or something, fine on the flat but gutless on hills of which there are a lot in Turkey. It was clean, very neatly new and suitable for 4, any more and I suggest the weight would add to the struggle to get up hills!. We found that switching the air con off helped with the hills!!

About Europcar:8.0/10
A well-established car rental company. The staff can speak English, and the pick-up and drop-off procedures are quick. However, they insisted we buy insurance when picking up the car, even though we had already bought full insurance through QEEQ. The store still tried to sell us insurance, and the communication was not smooth, which took a lot of time. Also, our tire had a problem on the road. We informed QEEQ to contact the store and they said we could change the car. But when we gave up sightseeing and rushed over, the store said we couldn't change, which was a wasted trip and wasted our travel time.
They replaced my reservation with a better car because they rented my reserved car, but I took more than 30 minutes to finish the papers, and when I dropped off the car it was terrible because too much crowd and there is one employee to receive all the cars.
