The process went smoothly, and the car was very new. I originally wanted a Fiat 500, but I got a Fiat Panda with over 2000 kilometers, which is an upgrade. Unfortunately, the Panda doesn't look as good, and the clutch is hard to press. I bought full insurance at the store, which was more expensive than online.
1. The pickup time is rigid; if they say you have to pick up at a certain time, you must pick up at that time. Because it's hard to predict the arrival time of international flights into Zagreb, we checked a lot of information online and planned to pick up the car within an hour of arrival, based on the actual flight and customs clearance time. The staff insisted we wait for an hour. Even though we explained the flight and immigration issues, they didn't understand and instead demanded that we coordinate with their working hours. 2. The car pickup process was slow; there were only two counters, and only one was open. The European customers behind us were not in a hurry, which I guess is normal.

Since it's hard to predict the international flight arrival time in Zagreb, we planned to pick up the car within an hour after arrival based on flight and customs information. However, the staff made us wait an extra hour, and they were rather inflexible despite us explaining the flight and immigration issues. They insisted we adjust to their schedule. 2. The car pickup process was slow with only one of the two available counters open, which seems to be a common occurrence as the other European customers weren’t in a hurry.

The car rental process was also slow. Despite two counters, only one was open. European customers behind us seemed unperturbed, indicating this might be a norm.
Satisfied. The vehicle was relatively new. Although it was small, the trunk space was large enough to fit a 20, 24, and 26-inch suitcase each. Service was also enthusiastic. However, traveling from Junlincheng to Montenegro required an additional fee of about 20 euros per day (not exactly sure of the amount). I only went to Montenegro for two days but had to pay this fee for the entire duration. The car was full of gas when picked up and returned, and there was a gas station near the airport.
“Reasonable car rental especially for our trip that we had to drop off the car in another country.”
About Enterprise:8.0/10
Car exceeded my expectation and had no issue with it driving from Dubrovnik to Milan. Only problem was the gas tank was only 2/8 full and it was hard to calculate how much gas we had to put in the tank as we were driving more than 1, 500 kilometers so we brought it back 7/8 full.
I didn't notice that I brought a VISA card without a chip, which resulted in being unable to pick up the car. The full amount was charged and could not be refunded. It's my own fault.
Excellent service. Booked the cheapest car but got a Peugeot 2008 SUV, which I believe is an upgrade of two levels. The lady handling the car pickup didn't mention anything about it. The car was a bit too big for just one person, used more fuel, but it was very stable and had fast acceleration. In Croatia, driving speeds are very high, especially on the highways where you need to maintain a high speed to keep up. After driving, I realized that only such a stable car could handle it well. Both pickup and drop-off were managed by David, who was very helpful, attentive, and dedicated. Because I didn't buy insurance from the car rental company, they reserved a deposit of 1100 euros on my card, the highest I've ever had to pay. I hope the company releases the hold on my deposit soon.
