Everything else was fine, but the front desk pressured us into choosing prepaid fuel when returning the car. We only used half a tank and didn't get a refund.
Was an ok experience, big let down with the refuelling of the vechile on return. Got charged $35+ for 30km worth of fuel or 6Ltrs worth or 5Lt per 5km.....
When i questioned it i offered minimal answers and justbtold yep
Satisfied. The store is easy to find, the staff is enthusiastic, and they explained every possible detail clearly. There are no hidden or mandatory charges, and the billing details were honestly disclosed.
“They should have to deal with me in familiar way as well.”

I was travelling from India with 2 old age people and 1 infant and I booked car to pick up from Sydney airport and drop off at Canberra. Actually I have booking through qeeq website and when I booked at that time I don't have any physical card or neither anything mentioned about it on website. So when I went to Sydney airport to collect the car the staff member told me he need physical bank card according to their policy . I explained my whole scenario but he didn't convinced. One of my friend with me who having licence and bank card with him but still the staff member has denied to tranfer that booking on his name. He told me to rebooking again which is cost me additional huge amounts. So finally I have to called my friend to get my bank card from Canberra and delivered to sydney airport. When my friend came with the card they don't have any car available and they arranged from domestic airport after wasting another 1 hour. So totally I have wasted a lot of time and money. I don't understand that if I have my licence with me, then what is the meaning of physical card and I told them i will pay through tap on by using the same account. And If physical card is that much important then why they allow to book through website? In some case I think they should also have to understand. They can transfer the car on my friends name but for some extra money they didn't. I will never use this services again.
This time, I picked up the car from the Hertz store at Perth Airport. The service is available until midnight, so you don't need to worry too much about the typical flight times. The pick-up process was much faster compared to the Hertz in Melbourne, possibly because I had rental information saved from a few days earlier at the Melbourne store. The service staff were very friendly. I had reserved a Nissan X-Trail, but when I arrived, they prepared a Toyota Highlander for me. I told the staff I preferred a mid-sized SUV and ideally the Kia Sportage I had driven earlier. The staff apologized and informed me they didn't have the Sportage available, but after calling a colleague, they managed to get a Subaru Forester for me within ten minutes. The car was almost new with only 12,000 km on it and no visible scratches. The staff asked if I had insurance, and I confirmed I had full coverage, so they didn't ask further. Overall, it was a great experience.
The car key battery was low, and after visiting a tourist spot, the car wouldn't start. I had to call for assistance. Fortunately, it started again during the call, but I was afraid to turn it off halfway through. The next day, I bought a button battery for $15 and fixed it myself.
The receptionist of Indian origin had the attitude of a state-owned store clerk from the 80s, constantly pressuring me to buy insurance. After I informed him that I had already purchased full coverage, he reluctantly let me sign the contract. Only after signing did he tell me that the reserved Prado had been replaced with a Ford Everest! The performance is nowhere near comparable to the Prado!
Located together with Hertz and other companies; any counter can handle it. The car had some scratches when picked up, but the staff noted it comprehensively. Changing the car was also easy, just handed the key to the staff.
