During the pick-up it should be more useful of the guy to tell us something about the car and if I need to pay toll somewhere or if the car has some scratches then just try to sell us more insurance.
Minor only
1.Pneumatic tyre warning lit on console - when queried told it was normal due to the heat. Sorry it's there for a reason it should have been reset.
2. Windscreen wash bottle empty - should be a routine check.
Very dissatisfied. They didn't reserve the agreed-upon car model for us, didn't inform us about the upgrade fee which turned out to be very high, and their bill had many more charges than the one from Zuzuche. The price tripled from 237 euros to over 800 euros. In a foreign country with language barriers and tight schedules, we were angry and helpless. Not sure if this is like the previous rental where many charges were based on final billing, but we ended up paying over 800 euros for just three days, turning 237 euros into more than 800 euros. It was a nightmare and I would never dare to rent a car here again.
The car model was downgraded without a refund for the price difference. They even said that at my price, it's impossible to rent a BMW (implying that even if they have BMWs, they wouldn't give it to me), and forcibly downgraded me to a Fiat.
They pushed insurance hard, claiming the insurance bought on the platform wasn't full coverage (even though I chose the most expensive option on the platform). Their attitude was okay at first, but it changed immediately when I said I wouldn't buy insurance on-site. In the end, I was forced to buy insurance under threats (even though I called the platform's customer service in China for help, they couldn't do much). It felt like the pre-sale, during-sale, and post-sale attitudes were completely different. The experience was terrible, and I won't use Zuzuche again.

About Budget:8.0/10
The car rental office is outside Catania airport, together with ABIS, but not far. As I arrived at 11:45 PM, I was worried they might be closed, but an attendant was still there and wasn’t impatient at all. Although the vehicle was not what I had initially expected, it was late, and I couldn't argue about it, as it was QEEQ's fault. Overall, I am satisfied.
Absolutely avoid this Italian company, Budget. They are a rip-off. They push expensive insurance when picking up the car, and if you refuse, they give you an attitude. There's no staff present when you pick up the car. Even though we took photos of numerous scratches when we picked up the car, they were extremely strict during the return inspection and blamed all old scratches on us. They didn't acknowledge the photos we showed them. The damage estimate was shockingly high. Be very careful with this company.
I booked a car for 9 AM but they said there was no car available. I got the car at 6 PM, which disrupted our plans. The car I received had scratches all over it.
